Gudka Group was started in 1978 in Kisii, within the Nyanza region of Kenya. The group's focus was to supply and distribute automotive parts and tyres in East Africa. In 1984 the Group opened its second branch in Nairobi, the Capital City of Kenya.

As the Company expanded its wings, it also diversified its portfolio into agricultural machinery, real estate and farming. Gudka Westend Motors Ltd then changed to GUDKA GROUP and formed separate companies within the group to manage the different portfolios.

Tire World Ltd was formed in 2015 to solely focus on the tyre business of GUDKA GROUP and expand its reach into the whole of East Africa which has always been the focus of GUDKA GROUP.

CST brand tyres are offered by Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co. Ltd. (Cheng Shin Tire). The company has three production facilities in Xiamen, China and employs more than 20,000 people.

CST tyres are distributed in more than 150 countries around the world. CST products include tyres and tubes for bicycles, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, autos, trucks, forklifts, agriculture, lawn and garden.

Goodride Tires is a premium brand of Zhongce Rubber Group Co. Ltd. As of 2019, Zhongce Rubber Group Co. Ltd was ranked the world’s No. 12 tyre brand as of 2019 rankings. The Group has four subsidiaries, namely ZC Europe, ZC America, ZC Brazil and ZC Thailand. ZC Rubber devotes to produce a variety of valuable tyres covering truck, passenger, industrial, offroad, bicycle, motorcycle and ATV.

Aplus tyres is recognised as having one of the largest range of OTR, Farm and Industrial tyres, with more than 700 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs). Although the brand was developed in Europe in 2018, most of the products are produced in India.

The company also retails motorcycle tyres and started producing truck tyres late 2019.
