What is Partners for Parks?
The Lisle Partners For Parks Foundation is a non-profit
501(c)(3) corporation which means that any contributions made to
the organization are tax deductible. While the foundation supports
the mission of the Lisle Park District, it should not be mistaken
as part of the Lisle Park District. It is managed by a ten member
board of volunteers that either work and/or live within the greater
Lisle community.
The purpose of the organization is to raise money through
corporate and private sponsorships and in-kind donations. These
funds will be used for such things as enriching the quality of life
in the greater Lisle community through offer-ing scholarships for
those families who otherwise could not afford to participate in
recreation programs, beautification of parks and protection of
natural resources, supporting and enhancing community programs and
promoting recre-ational opportunities. Funding projects such as
these is not usually appropriated from tax dollars.
The foundation will also encourage and build relationships
between private and public organizations which will promote the
exchange of services and technical expertise.

How You Can Help:Once you have purchased your paving brick, the
Lisle
Partners for Parks Foundation immediately directs the proceeds
to the following areas:

After your brick has been ordered, installation will be
completed in approximately 4 to 6 weeks weather permitting. You
will be notified once the installation has been completed. If your
purchase is a gift, you will receive a certificate to present to
the recipient.
Your tax deductible gift will help to make the Lisle community a

The Lisle Partners for Parks Foundation strives to provide the
greater Lisle community with several unique fundraising
opportunities. The opening of the state-of-the-art Sea Lion Aquatic
Park in 2004 provided the foundation with the perfect opportunity
to develop the Personalized Paving Brick program.
The Lisle Partners for Parks Foundation is working very closely
with Impressions in Stone in Vernon Hills to produce personalized
paving bricks that are used to pave the area leading up to and
around the entrance of Sea Lion Aquatic Park. When you purchase
your brick, the inscription you choose is strictly a personal one.
However, your inscription must fit the size restrictions described
on the order form.
