Blackboard: Parent Access
Visitwww.sarasotacountyschools.netand then click on Parents andStudents
Click on the BlackboardLearn link
Use the email address you used tocreate your parent portal account. The username and password are thesame.
Example: Username: [email protected] Password: [email protected]
The directions below will walk parents through how to access Blackboard as an Observer and view homeworkassignments that were posted in the Announcements section by their child's teachers.
You will see allhomework assignmentsposted in the MyAnnouncements section
If you want to switch to another child,click your profile at the top right andthen select Parent Dashboard.
Click the arrow to the right of theother child and then select Observe. You will now be able to seehomework posted in the MyAnnouncements section ofBlackboard for this student.
