    NetApp Certification Testing FAQs

    1. I have tested with Pearson VUE in the past. Can I use my existing account

    information to schedule an exam?Yes. If you have tested with Pearson VUE in the past; you should use your existing

    account profile information to schedule an exam. Simply enter your username andpassword for your existing Pearson VUE account atwww.pearsonvue.com/netapp/schedule .

    2. I have NOT tested with Pearson VUE before. What should I do to schedulea NetApp exam?

    Go to www.pearsonvue.com/netapp/ and select My Account. On the next page

    select Create a web account.

    3. What are the payment options when scheduling an exam?The following payment types are available:

    1) Credit Card. AMEX, Master Card, VISA and JCB are accepted.

    2) Voucher Code. If you have been provided a voucher code, you may use it as exampayment as long as the exam is scheduled and taken before the voucher code

    expiration period.

    4. How can I receive a payment receipt for my exam appointment?When you pay for an exam with a credit card, a payment confirmation email (in

    English) is automatically sent. You may print this email as their receipt.

    5. How will I receive information about my exam appointment?

    An email with your appointment details will be sent to you after scheduling an exam.

    A copy of the online confirmation should be printed out and saved as your

    confirmation.

    6. How far in advance do I need to cancel or reschedule an examappointment?

    Proctored exams must be cancelled or rescheduled 24 hours before the appointmentdate/time. A refund will be issued for all cancelled transactions.

    7. What forms of ID are acceptable to provide at the time of admission to aPearson VUE test center?

    During the admissions process you must provide two (2) valid forms of identification.Acceptable forms of ID are:

    Drivers license Passport

    Other government-issued ID, such as a state/country identification card Alien registration card (green card, permanent resident visa) Military ID School ID on an exception basis Credit card (as long as it contains a photograph and signature) as a

    secondary ID only

    8. Can Pearson VUE sites accommodate test takers with special needs?

    Yes, Pearson VUE and NetApp allow accommodations to test takers who are

    identified as having special needs. If you need additional time to complete your

    exam or another accommodation, please contact our American Disability Association

    (ADA) Accommodations number at: 1-800-466-0450.

    9. Will I receive a score report after completing an exam?After completing a proctored exam in a Pearson VUE test center, you will receive a

    print-out of your score report before leaving the test center. After completing a non-

    proctored exam online, you may print out your score report.

    10. What are the benefits of capturing digital photos and signatures at the

    testing centers?

    Digital photos may be used to assure employers that the person presenting thecertification credential is the same individual who took the exam. Likewise,

    employees are given peace of mind knowing that their credentials are protected.

    Further, this is just one of many steps to ensure that NetApp certifications maintaintheir value within the marketplace.

    11. How will test taker personal information be stored?

    Both NetApp and Pearson VUE employ rigorous measures to ensure data privacy.

    Although Information Technology testing is a significant part of Pearson VUEsbusiness, the company also routinely delivers a variety of other high-stakes exams

    everything from medical board licensing exams to the GMAT. The same

    methodologies used for the collection, encryption and storage of data for theseprograms are used for the NetApp certification program. For additional information,

    each companys Privacy Policy can be found on their websites.

    12. What other Information Technology exams can be taken at Pearson VUE

    test centers?

    Pearson VUE administers a wide variety of popular IT certification tests; including

    those by Adobe, Apple, Cisco, Citrix, CompTIA, EMC, HP, Oracle, VMware and more,

    many of which are exclusive to Pearson VUE. In addition, Pearson VUE administers

    certification and licensing tests for a number of professional and academic

    organizations.

    13. How can my organization become a Pearson VUE test center?

    Its easy to join the Pearson VUE Authorized Test Center network if you meet our

    basic requirements. Youll find an application, technical specifications and instructionson our website at www.pearsonvue.com/pvtc/join .
