This Union notes 1. Nestle continue to have poor ethical practices regarding baby milk, (site evidence from who re:

1.5million children die) 2. BBC documented that 1.8 million children are involved in growin cocoa used by Nestle, in west

Africa. 3. Had poor ethical practice with regard to deforestation for palm oil. Putting endangered animals at

further risk.

This Union Believes 1. That Nestle have improved ethically within the recent past 2. However they remain a company with poor ethical and environmental standards

This Union Resolves 1. That it should continue to boycott nestle 2. That we should encourage our members to do the same 3. We should inform our membership of this policy – via reminding people at student voice of the

policy as well as visible literature within our retail outlets.
