If you are visiting the Costa del Sol in 2012 or in the not too

The donkey sanctuary was setup in June 2004 and is run by a

group o f dedicated and caring volunteers who have given solace

to many abused and mistreated donkeys, mules, horses and

    other animals.

Since 2004, the sanctuary have rescued hundreds of equines

and other animals including pot bellied pigs, goats, chickens and

cats to name just a f ew.

The sanctuary is a f ully registered charity and is f unded entirely by donations but sadly receives no

government f unding or f inancial assistance which is hard to believe.

The volunteers at the the donkey sanctuary have given so much to make sure that these poor destitute

creatures can live out the rest of their lives in an environment where they are loved and well treated.

If you would like to volunteer as a helper, the sanctuary would be very pleased to hear f rom you. You canalso sponsor a donkey f or just 25.00 Euros per year which will go a long way in helping to pay f or f ood,

bedding, t reatments and other vital equipment.

NDS also provide weekly Hippotherapy sessions on Tuesday and Friday af ternoons which is used to

help treat people with physical and emotional needs.
