Nepal Earthquake I have visited Nepal on the 30th of April after the massive earthquake have struck the beautiful Himalayan nation.I have never witnessed an earthquake so closely and thus it was an unforgettable experience. The aftermath of the 7.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal and adjoining areas on 25th April,2015 has left a huge impact with deaths and destruction. The death toll crossed 4,000 — and is likely to even hit 10,000, according to the country's Prime Minister . Thousands of victims were left hopeless losing their loved ones and were left with no shelter. Nepal was a land of ruins and deaths all around. The places which were widely devastated are Bhaktapur Darbar Square, Pathan Square, Lalitpur, Sankhu, Sindhupal Chowk,Kakoni, Nuwakot and many more areas with minimal destructions. The Nepal armies have been working hand in hand with the victims even if they have their own lost families to deal with.Relief camps were organised at various providing the victims their minimal amenities of life. The burning grounds of the Pashupati Temple was never seen without corpses burning, in my five days of stay at Gaushala. Nepal, being one of the most beautiful places in the world have been stung with a disaster pretty impactful but still its beauty is unshaken, the hopes of the people are undying. Nepal is holding up with strength and courage to rebuild their shaken lives and reconstruct their broken dreams. The people of Nepal are facing the cruel act of the nature with a smile on their faces and strength in their hearts. 2015
