Daal Bhat Tarkari
Daal bhat tarkari is the daily meal eaten by all the Nepalese throughout the country. Daal is a soup made of lentils and spices which is served with the boiled grains known as Bhat. Tarkari is curry-a mash up of different vegetables flavored with spices and curry powder. It is the main staple diet of most Nepalese people and usually eaten two times a day.

3. Say hello or Namaskar if anyone is initiating a dialogue with you.
4. You may accept handshake offered by both sex male or female, but never offer your hand first to women.
5. Elders are called by their title but not by their names.
6. For Yes : shake your head from side to side, and for NO: nod your head up and down.
7. Give and receive business cards using both hands.

• (Hattiko mukhma jira);Cumin in elephant's mouth. Situation; used to describe the situation when very small amount of food is present or given when you are very hungry.
