10 It is a widely held belief that good health is linked to a healthy diet and that we can get all the necessary nutrition our bodies need from eating a good and balanced diet. However, this may no longer be true as things today aren't so simple. First of all, it is extremely rare to find someone who actually eats the recommended healthy diet as outlined by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). In fact only 20% of Australians and 27% of New Zealanders are eating at least three serves of vegetables and two serves of fruit a day 1 - which is still short of the recommended five serves of vegetables and two serves of fruit. For the large majority outside this percentage, any further movement away from the ideal diet increases the risks of lifestyle diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes. The food available in most aisles of your local supermarket are not helping. The use of cheap ingredients such as sugar and other chemical substitutes in so many food items either go unnoticed or are just accepted as normal. It's now easy to see why cases in obesity and diabetes are at epidemic proportions! But even for those who usually meet the guidelines, the amount of beneficial nutrients can depend on a few other factors. Such as where the food came from? Were all the fruit and vegetables from a large chain supermarket? Where and when was your bread baked? Are the one to two serves of fish you are eating each week free of contaminants and heavy metals? Do they even have enough omega-3? Due to modern farming and food processing, our efforts to eat well are being undermined even before we make the choice of what to place in our shopping basket. It is a widely held belief that good health is linked to a healthy diet and that we can get all the necessary nutrition our bodies need from eating a good and balanced diet.

However, this may no longer be true as things today aren't so simple. First of all, it is extremely rare to find someone who actually eats the recommended healthy diet as outlined by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). In fact only 20% of Australians and 27% of New Zealanders are eating at least three serves of vegetables and two serves of fruit a day1 - which is still short of the recommended five serves of vegetables and two serves of fruit.

Depending on where your food is grown, the process of nutrient loss can begin right at the farm, not to mention the additional harvesting, processing and transportation. So you can see that even those people making the effort to eat well everyday are not guaranteed to receive what they

intended for their bodies.

Based in Nature ...

This is where NeoLife nutrition continues to stand above all

competitors, even after more than 50 years, by producing products based on only the finest whole food, human food chain ingredients. NeoLife's world-leading scientists, researchers and nutritionists search for effective solutions to promote and protect your long-term health. Unlike most other supplements, NeoLife's scientists use good natural food as the starting point when developing all NeoLife nutritional products. We don't merely look at whether something occurs somewhere in nature and use that as the source of our ingredients - that's not good enough! Instead, we look to what has been part of the human food chain for centuries - foods that have withstood the test of time and are totally safe for human consumption. We do not simply isolate one particular nutrient from a food, leaving behind the other food factors which nature provided for optimal utilisation of that nutrient. Instead we take the "whole food" approach and concentrate the nutrients along with their associated food cofactors. We do not try to make synthetic nutrients which the body often cannot recognise or use. Instead we use exactly what nature intended

- good wholesome food, so you know it has to be good.

... Backed by ScienceBut it's the science behind the NeoLife products that makes

the real difference. Led by NeoLife's own Scientific Advisory Board of leading, peer-respected scientists including biochemists, toxicologists and nutritionists and supported by a Global Scientific Network of top Scientists around the world, NeoLife products are developed on the basis of the very latest scientific research being conducted in

the field of human nutrition. NeoLife has continually been at the leading edge of science in developing new techniques and processes to concentrate and extract the families of nutrients from their whole food sources. The result: products that have been independently tested by leading scientific and government organisations and institutions and found to do exactly what has been claimed for them. Products superior to anything else tested. Products that work!

This is why NeoLife doesn’t release any product unless all steps of inspection, analysis, processing, and quality control are followed. For example, each raw material must pass our stringent

quality control process before going into any NeoLife product. The types and number of tests vary for every raw material and are performed by NeoLife and our global quality assurance and control system. Our testing protocols follow the U.S. and British

Pharmacopoeia, the American Organization of Analytical Chemists, and the Food Chemical Codex. Should any raw material not pass our Quality Control procedures, we refuse to use any of that batch in our products. In addition to our own ongoing laboratory analysis, we also require certifications of potency and purity from qualified suppliers, each of whom must comply with our quality standards.

So whether you are a customer or a NeoLife Distributor, you too can be full of confidence knowing that NeoLife products not only meet the very highest standards in quality and safety, they are also designed to do exactly what they are meant to do.
