• “Measurements” tab in workspace is divided into three sections:

• Folders• “All measurements” folder in the workspace shows

Ribbon Bar

• Ribbon bar combines the traditional menus and toolbars

• Ribbon bar can be toggled hide/show by double-clicking in any of the menu tabs (File, View, etc.)

• Some of the menuitems in the Ribbon bar are dynamically shown only when certain windows are open

• E.g., when there is map view open in the workbook, workbook, and map specific items appear in the Layout and Tools menu

Loading and Removing Files to/from Nemo Analyze

• Or drag and drop file(s) to Nemo Analyze

• Note that all the files uploaded into the database need to have unique file names

by time, etc.

Base Station Coloring on Map• BTS icons can be colour-coded based on

any of the parameters available in the BTS file itself, such as channel number, scrambling code, etc.

• BTS icons can be also colour-coded based on custom query results where there is cell identification included

• Examples of usage:• A custom KPI that returns number of

dropped calls per cell can be visualized on the map by colour coding the BTS icons with number of dropped calls, highlighting the problem cells on the map

• Base station icons are colour-coded based on whether the mobile measured them or not during the drive test. This kind of view can be used to spot missing neighbours and sleeping cells, that is, cells that are not measured even though the route crosses the expected service area of cell

Area Binning

• Data can be binned geographically with user-definable size

• Statistics over multiple files can be calculated and visualized on the map for each bin

Var• Two modes:

• Fixed geographical bin area: Binning made for data that falls into the user-defined rectangle

• Bounding geographical bin area: Binning made automatically to the whole area of the selected data set.

Cell sync between grid and map (Professional edition)

• Double-click on the row in grid that represents cell-specific data, and map jumps automatically to same cell, highlighting it

• Synchronization is based on cell identification. Therefore, any query containing cell ids in the result set can be synchronized with base station references on map

• Sync works also by double-clicking on a given cell in the Cell Tree in the Base Stations section of the Workspace

Organize Measurements

• Right-click on “All Measurements” folder � Organize..• In the Organize Measurements window you can conveniently

handle and organize large sets of Measurement files for analysis• 3 different folder types:• Drag-and-drop folder

• User can manually drag the files in the folder• Search folder

• User sets criteria, based on which the measurement files are automatically added to the folder

• Folder contents are updated automatically when new files are added to the DB

• E.g., all files from last week, all files from UMTS, all files from certain operator

• Query folder• Files to the folder are filtered based on user-defined SQL

query• E.g. all files with dropped RRC connections

Joined Measurement• With Nemo Analyze it is possible to join

separate measurement files into a joined measurement. Joined measurements can be analyzed as one measurement file.

• Note that you cannot join overlapping measurement files. Files must have been recorded at different times.

• Right-click on All Measurements and select Add Joined Measurement or add it in Organize measurements

• The joined measurement appears in the Workspace and you can now drag & drop measurement files in it. Joined measurements are identified with a symbol.

• Joined measurement vs. folder:• Both can be used to merge files to

one dataset for analysis• Folder works for time-wise

overlapping files, whereas joined measurement doesn’t

• Folder data is not in timely order �cannot be visualized in bar/line graph.

Workbook report templates

• Workbook reporting templates for GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPA, CDMA, and EVDO are available in the workbook menus

• Major benefit of the new report templates compared to Crystal Reports templates is the ability to customize the templates.

• It is also possible to include map plots in the template, unlike in the Crystal Reports templates.

MS Excel Reporting

• Possible to take any existing MS Excel sheet as a report template

• Results from any predefined, or custom query/queries can be exported to the Excel sheet

• Excel report can be executed similarly as Crystal Report templates

• Quick troubleshooting over large amount of measurement data:

1. Quickly get only the failure events from the measurement data

2. Double-click on a failure event to see full details from user-defined time range around the event

Retrieve information elements inside signalling messages

UL MOS score integration with DL mobile file

• In voice quality measurements against a voice quality server with Nemo Outdoor, DL MOS scores are stored in the mobile log file along with other drive test data. UL MOS scores are stored in a separate log file on the server.

• UL MOS scores are automatically combined in Nemo Analyze, enabling UL MOS score map plotting, benchmarking, etc.

• Both UL and DL files need to be uploaded into the database

• The actual analysis is done then using only the DL files, Analyze will combine the UL MOS values automatically in runtime from the UL logfile
