The Competition.- Work in teams of two.- Divided into Team A and
Team B.
- Role play exercise whereby you act on behalf of your client
and aim to achieve the best result possible.- Dress smart.
How the Competition Works.-Both teams receives common facts with
general information about the scenario.-Also receive different
confidential facts which you are able to negotiate with.-With this
information you try to reach a compromise and a mutual agreement
with the opposing team regarding your clients wishes.
The Structure of the Competition.Wednesday afternoon from
3:15.Four Rounds - Qualifying Round (30 teams) - Quarter Finals (16
teams) - Semi Finals (9 teams) - Three Way Negotiation - Final (2
teams)
The Structure of the Competition.You will receive the scenario
and secret facts 1 week before the competition.
Rounds will last 30 minutes and 45 minutes for the final.
Negotiation, De- brief and then Judges Feedback.
How you are judged.You will be judged by a lecturer and student
judge acting as passive observers on the following criteria: -
Knowledge of the facts. - Strategy - Flexibility - Client Focus -
Teamwork - Relationship with other team - Ethics -
Self-analysis.
Announcements.Results of the competition will be given the
following Monday.
