NEET 2017Question Paper Analysis (7th May 2017) The most prestigious Medical Entrance Exam AIPMT 2017 held on 7-May-2017 at various exam centers across nation from 10 am to 1 pm. 12 codes A,B,C,D,P,Q,R,S,W,X,Y,Z were provided to students.

The number of questions in the paper was 180 and it was of 720 marks. Each question was of 4 marks and

1 mark would be deducted for each wrong answer.

OVER ALL QUESTION PAPER ANALYSIS

PHYSICS

• Overall Physics part is average but difficult as compared to previous year papers. • Distribution of XI & XII syllabus is almost equal. • In one question from RLC circuit, none of the options was correct hence it should be bonus and one

question from photoelectric effect is having 2 same options.

CHEMISTRY

• Overall level of chemistry part is average. • Organic part is mechanism based. • Inorganic part is easy and two questions are conceptual. • Two questions in physical chemistry are conceptual while others are formula based.

BIOLOGY

• As compared to last year ,the level of biology part was slightly higher than NEET 1 but much higher than NEET 2

• Few (5 to 6) questions were out of NCERT / prescribed syllabus but were covered by CP study material.

• Overall the paper was standard with very little ambiguity or controversy.
