The Concept
Neem School model is designed for filling value
gaps and employability skills amongst vulnerable
Slum children and youth respectively.
Contrary to traditional classroom teaching, the
methodology used here is teaching under an
open sky where children dive in the ocean of
thoughts and ideas to explore the world through
games, activities, stories and skillful interaction
by our Volunteers who themselves learn skills
and get sensitized about social issues.

Condition in Slums:
- Delhi slums share around 14% of Delhi’s
total population.
- 42.7% of the total population of slums is
below 18 years of age.
- Around 82% of the Delhi juvenile crimes
have roots in slums.
- 51.9% of the total juveniles arrested during
the year 2013 were illiterate or had
education less than primary level.
- The largest reason for children dropping out
from formal education (67%) is disinterest.
Our Main Objectives:
· Inject the Value Gene in the new
Generation.
· Create Value Multipliers for restoring the
social fabric.
· Help youth in imbibing Employability
skills and filling skill gap.
· To create Universal & Gender Conscious
Citizens.

Filling values in the lives of underprivileged children by giving them Purpose in Life, Aspirations, Pride and Dignity by embedding ‘Right Values’ thereby making them Gender Sensitive, respected ‘Universal Citizens’.
