Need for computerized information system:A computerized information system is required to simplify the asset management processes.

Through computerized information system, asset managers could quickly create detailed

profiles for assets ranging from IP addresses, alarm codes, keys, office equipment and even

facilities.

Also there is a need of tools for managing assets, including automated Surveys, lists for asset

provisioning and asset collection checklists, revenue recognition, fund and grant

management. Computerized information system provide reasonable basis to the managers for

making major corporate decisions which is time consuming & tedious job manually.

Computerized platform also provide basis for planning & budgeting on a single click i.e.

financial position in the form of balance sheet on the basis of which Managers can make

effective decisions rather than spending months on the tedious calculations & mental efforts

by financial wizards.

Streamlines and secures the purchase requisition process, provide a stable purchase to pay

system for improved financial reporting. Submissions will be automatically route to a

designated supervisor for approval or disapproval, with electronic signatures to track

document activity throughout the requisition process & will simplify the work of purchasing

managers.Approved purchase requisitions could be monitored through accounting and on throughreceiving. Purchase system with the Data Warehouse, a Web based reporting engine, will

ensuring that the most current procurement data is used in compiling financial reports. The

Computerized information system makes organizational communication effective and eases

the workload of HR. There is a need for computerized personnel management solution that

ease the workload of human resources departments by automating processes such as

employee vacation tracking, simplifying employee tracking and securing crucial HR data.

There is a need to synchronize data with Active Directory, persons added to Active Directory

would also added to Personnel system important data such as "Reports To", "Phone Number"and "Department".

Personnel computerized system would be accessible to all employees through the Web or

through their email client. A role-based UI will simplify the user experience and secure

access to personnel data. General users would be able to utilize Personnel system as a

searchable, organization-wide employee directory to look up phone numbers and office

locations, without leaving their email, as well as view color coded company calendars that list

vacations by status and company holidays, and submit vacation and change requests.

HR managers and administrators would have greater access to Personnel to system. They will

review online employee files and their attachments (resumes, performance reviews, etc.),

search for personnel by skills, view home addresses, manage leave accrual, work status and

MIS report generation:Type of report is required that intended to facilitate and support the information and decision-

making needs of senior executives by providing easy access to both internal and external

information relevant to meeting the strategic goals of the University. It is commonly

considered as a specialized form of a Decision Support System (DSS).

The report is required in the form of diagram or balance sheet or some kind of decisionsupporting information.

Report on Up-to-date targeted information regarding the performance of the University,

particularly on the priorities and goals articulated in the University's Strategic Plan,

Academic Profile and the Operational Priorities Plan, and other information of particular

relevance to faculties is required. The information provided is integral to the systematic

formal process. For ensuring that the University monitors and accounts for its performance

against its plans each year.

the data.
