LOGO USAGE The NEA Jazz Masters logo may be downloaded in either jpeg or eps formats from the NEA’s website: http://www.arts.gov/national/jazz/logos/index.html . The NEA Jazz Masters logo should be included in all promotional and educational materials related to NEA Jazz Masters Live performances and events. This may include print advertisements, calendar listings, websites, performance programs, brochures, and other marketing and promotional materials. Placement: The logo is designed to be most effective on a white background. When placing the logo on a color other than white, make sure the background is solid and free of distracting elements and color variations that may interfere with its readability. Use caution when enlarging the logo to maintain good resolution, and when reducing the logo to maintain easy readability. The logo may be reproduced in black and white. Placement of the NEA Jazz Masters logo may vary. However, the logo should be positioned prominently for high visibility and readability, distinct from other visual elements. Improper Uses of the logo: Don’t crop the logo. Don’t separate elements of the logo to reorganize format or appearance. The logo must stay intact. Don’t rotate the logo. Don’t distort the logo horizontally or vertically. Don’t alter any of the logo colors. Never alter the typography of the logo.

The National Endowment for the Arts seeks to achieve unified visual branding of NEA Jazz Masters Live through the proper application of the logo and crediting language.   Please follow these guidelines to help ensure the promotional success of your NEA Jazz Masters Live engagement.

The following are examples of unacceptable logo alterations:   

 

 CREDITING  The NEA Jazz Masters Live credit line is:  

 This event is supported by NEA Jazz Masters Live, an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.  

 This credit line must be included on all printed materials and digital communications. This includes the title page of programs, advertisements, brochures, signage, newsletters, posters, websites, and other marketing and promotional materials.   REPORTING  As part of your Grant Agreement, you are required to submit examples of printed materials. The exact requirements are specified within that agreement.
