As everyone must know the reason you were out ': Fall Fest was a spectacular spectacle ofof school from the hours of 12:30 to 2:30, October 29th, : spooky spirits on Wednesday, October 29th, be-I

was for everyone to corne and join the celebration at the : side the Tracy Gaines Building. Many studentsFall Fest. It was held in the commons area near Tracey :decided to dress up for the Halloween costume I

Gaines building. There was a good out turn and some :contest and what a sight of boys and ghoulsIcreative costumes. B-BQ sandwiches, soda, cotton there was! Tigger the tiger was there and a fewcandy, and popcorn were some of the free items given witches, a gorilla, a hippie, Dracula and evenout at Fall Fest. Representatives from Converse College Tina Turner showed up! I asked a few studentsand Franklin University were there to give out informa- what they thought of Fall Fest this semester andtion on their colleges. The scholarship committee set up one replied, "Even though there aren't as manya table with information on corning up scholarships. students here as there was at the Welcome BackSome other tables at Fall Fest were Surgical Tech stu- Bash, it was just as fun because it was nicer outdents' table where they sold candy bars, Culinary Arts side and the less the people means more foodtable where they sold cookies, and the IAAP had a game for all that did corne." Speaking of food, Fallwhere you could win a twenty-five dollar gift certificate Fest had delicious barbecue sandwiches andfor Wal-Mart if you could guess the right number of, drinks for everyone. There were games to playcandy com that was in a jar. Congratulations to Marcia: and music to listen to, and even though it took aSchenck who guessed the right number of candy corns: few minutes to get started, it looked as if every-Iin the jar. In addition, CCFC sponsored the pumpkin: lone had a great time. Fall Fest 2003 was a Fan-decorating table and Horticulture sponsored volleyball. : :tastic Festival of Fun!!Mu Alpha Theta had a balloon game for students to playand win prizes. Also, we had a Halloween costume contest. We saw a witch, monkey, princess, Tigger, soldier,Spider Woman, and even Dr. Terhune wore a mask for

I this event. The results of the Halloween costume contest:were: third place for twenty dollars cash was Trina Fos-I: ter (Tina Turner), second place for thirty dollars was:Beth Woods (Tigger the Tiger), and the first place grand:prize winner was Eric Jefferson (monkey). He success: fully succeeded in scaring his friends and making thecontest fun. There were also volleyball and music, fun - -and laughter, not to mention, all the door prizes given I

away. Some of those prizes were Fatz gift certificates, :The Change gift certificate, 2-liter soft drinks, and little:prize packets. It was a great time to be able to get out of:school for a little while to relax and have fun. Everyoneneeded time to get their mind off school for a few hoursand to enjoy the activities offered from different clubson campus. I will definitely be there next year. Howabout you?
