• Total number of population currently served inside and outside evacuation centers is 51,244 families / 236,226 persons

INSIDE 65 Evacuation Centers (ECs) 2,271 families / 9,681 persons OUTSIDE ECs (relatives/friends) 47,016 families / 218,830 persons

• There is a decrease in the number of affected families/persons and families/persons being served outside ECs. Moreover, there is also a decrease in the number of evacuation centers and in the number of families/persons inside the evacuation centers. As per DSWD, people have opted to return to their homes due to the improving weather situation

C. CASUALTIES (TAB C)

• As of this date, there are reportedly fifty-one (51) dead, thirty five (35) injured and six (6) are missing. One hundred forty three (143) , most of whom are fisher folks, were rescued.

D. STATUS OF LIFELINES

1. CONDITIONS OF ROADS AND BRIDGES (TAB D)

• To date, a total of forty five (45) roads were affected in Regions I, III, IV-A, IV-B, VI, CAR and NCR and two (2) bridges are not passable in Regions II and IV-B .

2. STATUS OF DAMS AND WATERWAYS (As of 4:00 PM, 06 August 2012)

• Ambuklao, Binga and San Roque Dams have decreased Gate Openings while Ipo Dam has completely closed all Gates.

• Water level of La Mesa Dam is 80.02m which is only 0.07 away from its overflow elevation of 80.15 It is likely to affect the low-lying areas along the Tullahan River from Fairview, Forest Hill, Quirino Hi-way, Capri, Goodwill Homes, Sta. Quiteria, Brgy. San Bartolome in Quezon city, Brgy. Ligon North Expressway, La Huerta in Valenzuela and Malabon.

• The following municipalities in Pangasinan: San Manuel, San Nicolas, Tayug, Sta Maria, Asingan, Villasis, Alcala, Bautista, Rosales and Bayambang are expected to be affected while Ambuklao, Binga and San Roque dams are releasing water.

• All residents living in the areas near Ipo, Ambuklao, Binga and San Roque dams are advised to be alert for possible increase in the water level downstream.

E. COST OF DAMAGES (TAB E)

• As of this date, the total cost of damages to infrastructure is ₱ 124,475,384.00 while the total cost of damages to private properties amounts to ₱ 532,000.00, which is entirely from Region IV-B. The cost of damages to agriculture was estimated at ₱ 279,171,053.20.

• The total estimated cost of damage for all sectors amount to ₱ 404,178,437.20.

F. COST OF ASSISTANCE (TAB F)

• A total amount of ₱ 17,783,661.49 worth of relief assistance was provided to the affected families. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and management Counc il (NDRRMC) provided ₱ 70,000.00, Local Government Units (LGUs) provided ₱ 6,144,711.95, Department of Health (DOH) contributed ₱ 5,266,663.84, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) provisioned ₱ 654,500.00 while the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) allocated ₱ 5,647,785.70.

• Region IV-A received the biggest allocation based on the extent of damages in the aforementioned region.

G. DAMAGED HOUSES (TAB G)

• The total number of damaged houses is 8,443, of which 1,246 are totally destroyed houses while 6,609 were partially damaged, most of which were from Regions IV-A, VI and NCR.

H. POWER AND WATER SUPPLY

• As of 01 August 2012, there were power outages in some areas in Tuba, Tublay, Kibungan, La Trinidad and Itogon in Benguet Province and in five (5) Barangays of Baguio City; Brgy. Masukol Paombong, Bulacan; and in the entire province of Camiguin.

• To date, there are no regional updates regarding the power restoration in aforementioned areas.

• As of 5:00 PM, 06 August 2012, there are six (6) flooded areas reported in NCR: three (3) in Region I; fourteen (14) in Region III; and one (1) in Region IV-A.

J. SUSPENSION OF CLASSES (TAB I) • Quezon City, Valenzuela City, Pasay City, Taguig City, Marikina City, Malabon City,

San Juan City, Pateros, Mandaluyong City, San Pablo (Laguna), San Mateo and Rodriguez, Rizal declared suspension of classes to ALL Pre-School, Elementary and High School, Public and Private.

2 Barges owned and operated by Asian Shipping company accidentally parted their anchor chains due to strong current and big waves. It then drifted there by damaging about 15 shanties at the shore lines. Approximately 15 bancas were damaged.

138 affected families are now housed at the Brgy. Happyland Covered Court. Oil spill boom was laid.

(2) Vicinity Pier 16, North Harbor, Manila

11:00 PM, 29 JulyA barge was dragged while anchored at vicinity Inside Break Water (IBW) and collided with M/V Gen Romulo and M/V Gen Malvar due to strong winds.

No casualty/damage of property reported

11:00 PM, 29 July MV Lorcon of Cagayan De Oro was damaged at port freeboard while moored at Pier 16.

The vessel incurred damage at her port freeboard due to strong winds with no casualty reported.

(4) Pasay City 10:30 AM, 30 July

Pasay CDRRMO reported that 3 fishermen were rescued from the waters at the back of the Senate Building, Pasay City namely: (1) Virgilio Salomon, 63yrs old; (2) Jose Bargo, 44yrs old; (3) Allan Morales, 30yrs old.

Fishermen were brought to Pasay General Hospital for further observation and treatment due to Hypothermia.

(5) Pier 3 Inside Break Water, Navotas City

6:50AM, 30 JulyA M/V Ocean Integrity was aground at approximately 500 yards off Pier 3 Inside Break Water, due to big waves and strong winds.

CG Detachment Navotas together with MEPU personnel of CGS Manila responded to the incident.

(6) Pier 4, Navotas City

9:00AM, 30 JulyF/B Dan Israel Delta sunked due to big waves and strong winds.

CG Detachment Navotas received a text message from a concerned citizen reporting such incident and thus responded to the scene.

01:10PM, 30 July

CG Detachment Navotas received another text message from a concerned citizen reporting that an unnamed banca with marking "Super Jharen" was hauled by F/B Dan Israel Lima from Outside Break Water (OBW) to Pier 4.

CG Detachment Navotas immediately responded to the incident.

M/V Bayang got dragged and drifted due to waves and strong current and she accidentally hit the anchored Barge Asian Roger which resulted to the damaged / cracked of more or less 20 inches in diameter on her portside that caused her to submerged.

CG Detachment North Harbor coordinated with Captain Andres T. Homecillo of Loadstar Shipping Company Incorporated, to lay out oil spill boom of sunken vessel and applying for Emergency Salvage Permit to be conducted by Malayan Towage Corporation.

30 JulyTwo barges bearing the names SOEKAWATI #2708 and #2709 ran aground at Brgy. Aloling, Agno, Pangasinan.

PCG is stil verifying the ownership and registration of the barges.

6:45 AM, 30 JulyA cargo vessel (MV Ocean Galaxy) had an engine trouble causing it to drift and ran aground.

8:00 AM 30 JulyTB Trabajador 1 arrived at the vicinity to undertake towning operations

(2) Bataan 9:00PM, 30 JulyAt the shores of Brgy. Sisiman, Mariveles, 3 Fishing Vessels were wrecked due to TY "Gener".

8 Fishermen on board were rescued by MDRRMC Mariveles.

(3) Bataan 10:56PM, 29 JulyM/V Ocean Galaxy was dragged and ran aground due to strong winds and rough sea.

1:00 PM, 30 July F/B Krizia with fifteen (15) fishermen encountered engine trouble causing them to be drifted.

3:00 PM, 30 July The fishing banca was towed by Fbca E.G.G. enroute to Brgy. Calapandayan, Subic, Zambales.

4:00 PM, 30 July Fishing banca arrived on shore with all the fishermen alive.

(1) Rosario, Cavite 4:00AM, 30 July

Two (2) persons named Jimetrio Suello of Quezon City and Alexander Daan from Tanza, Cavite onboard AM Geo Consul barge went missing after they left the municipal waters of Rosario, Cavite.

The PCG conducted SAR and found the missing persons alive along the vicinity shoreline of Cavite City.

(2) Limbones Island, Cavite

10:00PM, 29 July TB Joanne and Barge Issada ran aground the vicinity of Limbones Island.

TB Joanne has informed her company and another tug boat will be sent to pull out Barge Issada.The M/Tug Captain intends to check the ballast tank and wait for the high tide before pulling out.

(3) Brgy. Pagkilatan, Batangas City

9:45AM, 30 JulyA motorized banca with 5 passengers onboard capsized at Brgy. Pagkilatan.

The 5 passengers were rescued by PRC Batangas Chapter Emergency Response Unit

6:30AM, 30 July

A transport banca named MB Hamor, with 16 passengers, capsized in the vicinity water of Brgy. Pisa, Tingloy. While transiting at said vicinity, subject motorbanca encountered waves and strong winds causing her to capsize.

6:45 PM, 30 JulyAll passengers were rescued except for one (1) passenger identified as Maria "Merly" Datinguinoo who got drowned.

All rescued passengers arrived safely at Brgy Gamao, Tingloy, Batangas and subject motorbanca was towed by cited motorbancas. The cadaver of the victim was properly turned over to her family.

7:00 PM, 29 July M/V Shuttle RORO 1 ran aground and got stranded after hitting coral reefs.

9:00AM, 30 July A combined estimate of one hundred six (106) passengers/crew members were rescued.

One (1) of the passengers named Ernest Flores , 60 y/o, was accounted for and was brought to Municipal Hall of Looc and died due to respiratory disease. All rescued crews and passengers were brought to Romblon State University.

(2) Brgy. San Antonio, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro

2:00AM, 30 JulyM/V St. Nuriel owned/operated by 2GO shipping lines was cut off from her mooring lines and damaged a portion of Calapan Port due to strong winds and waves.

(3) Brgy, Long Beach, San Agustin, Romblon

A motorized banca with markings "NINAY 3" owned by Michael Gerncie with nine (9) fishermen onboard, encountered big waves and rough seas while fishing which drifted in the vicinity of Brgy. Long Beach, San Agustin Romblon.

The Fishermen were temporarily sheltered at the Brgy. Hall of San Agustin, Romblon.

(4) Romblon

Also due to rough seas, two other motorized bancas, "Kobe I" and "Kobe II" were reported to have sought shelter in Romblon, Romblon. The fishermen onboard reportedly came from Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro.

(1) Sorsogon 6:30PM, 29 JulyMV Maria Angela from Masbate ran aground 500 meters to Pilar Port, Sorsogon due to bad weather condition and rough seas.

CG Station Sorsogon and LGU of Pilar conducted rescue operations for the passengers onboard.

9:00 AM, 31 July

MB Cristy, a passenger motorized banca with nine (9) passengers and seven (7) crew, incurred damage on their bamboo balancer at the vicinity of Animasola Island while enroute to San Pascual, Masbate.

Navy Vessel BRP Hilario Ruiz (PG378) was immediately dispatched to conduct search and rescue operations.

12:05 PM, 31 JulyMB Cristy was spotted by Navy's PG378 at 10 nautical miles Northeast of San Pascual, Masbate.

01:00 PM, 31 JulyAll passengers and crew were safely rescued and arrived at San Pascual Pier.

(1) Tagbilaran, Bohol 8:05PM, 28 JulyFast craft Ocean Jet 5 ran aground a few meters from Pier 1, Cebu City.

All one hundred ninety two (192) passengers were rescued safely.

(2)Lapu-lapu City, Cebu

1:03AM, 02 AugustM/Tug Matatag capsized while conducting towing operations to MV Princess of the Earth at vicinity seawaters of Keppel shipyard Lau-lapu City.

Special Operation Unit (SOU)-Central Visayas Resuce operation, Maritime Environment Protection Unit (MEPU)-Central Visayas for possible oil spillage and alerted Search and Rescue Vessel (SARV)-3504 for possible assistance. Eight (8) officers/crews on board were rescued by its sistertug (M/TUG PSC Matibay).

(3) Keppel Shipyard, Lapu-Lapu City

10:30AM, 02 August

M/Tug Matatag was capsized while conducting towing operation to M/V Princess of the Earth at the vicinity waters of Keppel Shipyard, Lapu-Lapu City

Eight (8) crew members were rescued by CG Detachment Cebu.

Two (2) small bancas locally known as "Baroto" with two (2) fisherman onboard were capsized due to rough sea condition at twenty (20) meters away from Pier II, Catbalogan City, Samar

The two (2) men were immediately rescued by the PCG and the two (2) bancas were tied to M/T PSC Kalasag

2:00 AM, 01 August Big waves from very rough seas have caused damages to 35 families

4:00 AM, 01 AugustA group of fishermen were reported adrift in the seawaters of Cabadbaran City due to strong winds and big waves.

Out of thirty-three (33) reported adrift fishermen, two (2) are still missing and 31 have returned home. As of this time, search and rescue operation is conducted by Philippine Coast Guard, PNP-Maritime, and Local fishermen organized by CDRRMC-Cabadbaran City and PDRRMC-ADNERT of the Province of Agusan del Norte.

Relative to TS "Gener", casualties were reported due to submerged small boat along the Kabuntalan River because of strong water current and strong winds in the area. Of the three (3) persons identified on board, one (1) survived and the two others were dead namely Laga Gana Toni, 38 years old, mother and Datu Toni Jr, 1 year old son.

Residents in the area tried to rescue the victims but failed to do so. The remains were brought to the house of the family of the victims for proper internment. LDRRMOs advised the residents living near the rivers on the precautionary measures and to closely monitor the situation.

MDRRMO Bulan is verifying time of occurrence and status of the affected families. Families affected by the storm surge temporarily sought shelter with their relatives.

LGU San Pablo responded to the incident and brought his son to the custody of DSWD Laguna.

The victim was rushed to Catigbian District Hospital and was declared dead-on-arrival. RDRRMC 7 coordinated w/ LGU Catigbian and Bohol Provincial Police Office.

A motorcyle passing the National Highway of Brgy. Saguisi was slammed by a coconut tree which was uprooted due to strong winds, immediately killing its 2 passengers namely, Jury S. Betaganzo and Maylin P. Betaganzao

M/V Bayang got dragged and drifted due to big waves and strong current towards Manila Harbor Center. Later, it accidentally hit the anchored barge named Asian Roger and subsequently resulted to the sinking of the M/V Bayang.

The personnel of CG Detachment North Harbor, laid out an oil spill boom of the sunken vessel to prevent oil spillage.

Effects of Typhoon “GENER” PREPAREDNESS MEASURES As of 8:00 PM, 06 August 2012

NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS

A. NDRRMC • Disseminated NDRRMC Advisories on Weather Advisory to all regions affected through

SMS and facsimile, uploaded the same at the NDRRMC Website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts for further dissemination to their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs) from the provincial down to the municipal levels

• Directed RDRRMCs concerned through the OCD Regional Centers to undertake precautionary measures in their respective areas of responsibility (AOR) and subsequently advised local DRRMCs to initiate pre-emptive evacuation of families in low-lying and mountainous areas if situation warrants

B. MEMBER AGENCIES • PCG Aurora advised fishing boats and other small sea crafts not to venture out into the

sea while larger sea vessels were alerted against big waves.

• PCG Bicol alerted Coastguard Stations and Detachments within Bicol area.

• PRO IV-A alerted all Police Provincial Offices to monitor weather situation and report any untoward incident to the LDRRMCs Operation Center.

• DILG IV-A has been assisting in the dissemination of Weather Advisories and providing updates to RDRRMC IV-A.

• DSWD – I, DSWD – II, DSWD – III and DSWD V pre -positioned family packs; activated SWAD team for any eventuality; and QUART Teams have been reactivated for possible pre-emptive evacuation of disaster prone areas in the Region.

• DPWH-FO2 is continuously monitoring the conditions of all major roads and bridges. • PNP Search and Rescue Teams are on alert and ready for deployment. • PNP Cordillera has implemented its DRRM plan LOI 35/10 “OPLAN Saklolo”, assisted

OCD in dissemination of weather and warning advisories, and activated all PPOs. • PNP-PRO IV-A, BFP IV-A, AFP(SOLCOM) and PCG-STL have alerted their provincial,

city and municipal units to monitor weather situation in their AORs and assist in the evacuation and SAR as needed.

• PIA-CAR and PIA IV-A assisted in the dissemination of weather and warning advisories. • BFP implemented contingencies on flood and assistance for evacuation. • DOH:

� DOH CAR and DOH IV-A prepositioned medicines and other health concerned logistics at Regional and extension offices.

� PHOs coordinated with PDRRMC, MDRRMC and assisted RHU in WASH and health education activites.

� PHTOs conducted rapid health assessment in the Provinces of Rizal, Cavite, Laguna and Batangas

• AFP 9ID, PA � 901st BDE (Albay & Catanduanes) prepared 12 vehicles and 2 platoons of

troops on standby alert in Albay; 6 vehicles and 1 platoon in Catanduanes. � 902nd BDE (Camarines Norte and Sur) 3 DRTUs, 6km250, 10km450 ready to

be utilized. � 903rd BDE (Masbate & Sorsogon) prepared 7 vehicles and 3 platoons on

standby alert.

•••• RDRRMCs I, II, III, IV-A, IV-B, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII, ARMM, CAR and NCR are closely monitoring the AOR and closely coordinating with P/MDRRMCs regarding effects of TS Gener.

•••• RDRRMC I operations center activated since 30 July 2012. � PDRRMC Ilocos Norte prepositioned relief goods for rescue and relief

operations. •••• RDRRMC II coordinated with Local DRRMCs regarding situation in their AOR and

preparedness activities undertaken. “No Sail Policy” is still in effect for all motorized banca within their Area of Responsibility due to rough seas.

• RDRRMC III Emergency Operation Center was on Red Alert Status since 28 July 2012 and continuously monitoring the effects of Typhoon “GENER” in AOR. Continuously monitoring status of major roads and bridges, class suspension and situation in AOR. Relayed Hydrological Dam Situationer for Ipo Dam water released issued 8:00 AM 19 July 2012. Monitored Ipo Dam in the province of Bulacan and major roads and bridges in AOR.

� MDRRMC Gerona closely monitored dikes at Villa Paz Gerona section of the Tarlac River.

� MDRRMC Paniqui is closely monitoring the dikes at Barungabong, Colibangbang and Nancamarinan Paniqui section.

� CDRRMC Balanga Bataan is closely monitoring the situation in AOR. � PDRRMC Bulacan is closely monitoring the status of Ipo and Bustos Dam.

Alerted residents in low-lying and mountainous areas for possible flashfloods and landslides. Closely monitoring the flooded areas in San Miguel.

� Zambales Disaster Response Team (PEO), PDRRMO and P SWDO conducted ocular inspection on the reported flooded areas in San Narciso, Castillejoz, Iba to Sta. Cruz.

• RDRRMC IV-A: � Closely monitoring the status of the water level of the Teresa River � BDRRMO Morong advised the residents living near the river to stay away from

the flood control. • RDRRMC IV-B:

� Placed OpCen on Red Alert Status and advised LGUs t o do the same, for the immediate response regarding the effects of Sou thwest Monsoon as enhanced by Typhoon “Gener”.

� BDRRMO Morong advised the residents living near the river to stay away from the flood control.

• RDRRMC V and PDRRMC Catanduanes advised fishermen not to venture out into

the sea due to bad weather. OCD V on Heightened Alert Status; Maintains 24/7 duty personnel to monitor LDRRMCs and concerned agencies re incidents and actions taken.

• RDRRMC VI is closely monitoring the effects of Southwest Monsoon enhanced by Typhoon “GENER”.

� CDRRMC Ilo-ilo provided psychosocial care to the victims with totally and partially damaged houses; provided food and relief assistance to the affected families; and partially damaged houses were subjected for the re-assessment for possible shelter assistance. Continuous SAR Operation for the missing victim in Pavia, Ilo-ilo.

• RDRRMC-CAR is continuously monitoring the rainfall amount and the status of Binga and Ambuklao Dam. Advised PDRRMCs allocated with Emergency Telecommunications equipment to prepare their units for possible activation.

• OCD-NCR - Eight (8) Barangays in Quezon City are on RED ALERT STATUS: Gulod, Greater Fairview, Sta. Lucia, North Fairview, San Bartolome, Nagkaisang Nayon, Sta, Monica and Greater Lagro.

Effects of Typhoon “GENER” ACTIONS TAKEN

A. NATIONAL

� NDRRMC Operations Center was upgraded from BLUE ALERT to RED ALERT STATUS effective 11:00 AM, 28 July 2012 and is continuously monitoring and disseminating 24 hour Public Weather Forecast, Severe Weather Bulletin, Gale Warning, and General Flood Advisories to all RDRRMCs/OCDRCs through SMS, facsimile and websites for further dissemination to their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs) from the provincial to the municipal levels.

� Based on the recommendation of PAGASA and NDRRMC, the Office of the President issued MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 32 suspending work in government offices and classes in college level in Metro Manila from 2:30 PM onward, 30 July 2012, with the exception of those agencies whose functions involved the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness and response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital public services.

� PCG � Implemented the “No Sail Policy” for all motorized banca in Aparri. � PCG-Luna, La Union rescued the two (2) fishermen and coordinated with PDRRMC

Ilocos Sur for their way home. � PCG-Maripipi Biliran rescued five (5) fishermen and coordinated with RDRRMC

VIII for further assistance sending the fishermen back home. � PCG-STL assisted in Search and Rescue (SAR) of the crew of the two (2) vessels

that ran aground in Mabini and Batangas City. � PCG Romblon and MDRRMO conducted Search and Rescue Operation in aground

M/V Shuttle RORO 1. � PCG Palawan, Regional Maritime Unit, Western Comman d, NAVFORWEST

Puerto Princesa, Puerto Princesa Police City Office and PDRRMO jointly conducted SAR operations in the vicinity of Brgy Irawan, Puerto Princesa.

� PCG Zambales rescued 7 Indonesian Crews of ocean tag boat named MV Cosco 202.

� DA II conducted assessment of damages to agriculture. � DILG-CAR issued to LGUs a MEMORANDUM ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PRE-

EMPTIVE EVACUATION . � DOH-HEMS:

� Activated Surveillance in Post Extreme Emergencies and Disast ers (SPEED) on for Regions III, IV-A and NCR.

� RHU provided medical consultation and public health service in identified evacuation centers.

� CHD IV-A provided medicines at Regional and extension offices. RHU Mabitac, Laguna provided Doxycycline Prophylaxis to the affected families.

� CHD III advised all PHTOs to activate SPEED in all flooded areas in their respective provinces and to start Doxycycline Prophylaxis in flooded areas.

� WASH activities done in Mabitac, Laguna and Cavite. Provided Hyposol and water disinfectant.

� DENR-MGB and EMB conducted site inspection and assessment of the reported pipeout / spilling incident at the tailings pond of Philex Mines Corporation.

RDRRMC I

• PDRRMC WASAR and PHERT were requested to conduct pre-emptive evacuation of students at Brgy Sabangan, Binmaley due to rising water brought about by rainwater and high tide.

• PDRRMC Pangasinan conducted an Emergency Meeting on Operational Preparedness and Readiness of its Member Agencies and was presided over by Gov. Amado T. Espino on 02 August 2012. A technical group was established and tasked to give timely and effective response for any untoward eventualities.

RDRRMC III

• PDRRMC Zambales distributed 100 packs of food to the affected families in Castillejos, and conducted sandbagging in the dikes of San Felipe and San Narciso – San Marcelino. Distributed sandbags to various municipalities / barangays to augment the sandbagging operations being conducted by the LGUs.

� MDRRMC Castellejos provided tents for the evacuees of Sitio San Isidro and Brgy San Pablo.

� PEO Zambales conducted clearing operations in Brgy Balincaguing-Paite Road, San Felipe, Zambales due to landslide. They are doing the rehab of the eroded Zambales dike.

• PDRRMC and PSWDO distributed 50 packs of relief goods to the affected families in Brgy. Lipay and 100 packs of relief goods to Brgy. Babuyan, both in Sta. Cruz, Zambales.

• PDRRMC Nueva Ecija OPCEN was activated since 28 July 2012 and is continuously monitoring the status of Pantabangan Dam. Disseminated advisories and alerted responders for possible evacuation.

• PDRRMC Nueva Ecija, DPWH and PNP assisted and provided signage at the scourged portion of the road located at km 188 Brgy. Piut Carranglan, Nueva Ecija.

• PDRRMU Pampanga provided four (4) dump trucks of filling materials. On 4 August, they released 1,000 empty sacks for sandbagging operations to the Municipality of Sta. Ana.

• PDRRMO and PSWDO provided 100 packs of relief goods to the affected families in Brgy Babuyan, Sta Cruz and Brgy Lipay, Sta Cruz.

• CDRRMC Cabanatuan City provided relief assistance to the affected population. • MDRRMC Mariveles, Bataan conducted SAR Operations on the alleged missing

fisherman. • CDRRMO Olongapo, SAR Personnel, Coast Guard, PNP Ma ritime and SBMA

Rescue conducted search and recovery operations. As of 7:00 AM 03 August 2012, retrieval operations still on-going.

RDRRMC IV-A

• RDRRMC IV-A and OCD IV-A had an emergency meeting with MDRRMC Mabitac and representatives of PDRRMC Laguna at the Mabitac Municipal Bldg at 1:00 PM, 31 July 2012. Immediate needs and long-term solutions to the flooding, enhancement of EWS of the Municipalities of Mabitac and Sta. Maria including IEC activities were discussed in the said meeting.

• RDRRMC Chairperson, OCD IV-A and representative from DSWD IV-A had an Emergency Meeting with MDRRMOs San Mateo and Rodriguez, Rizal in their respective Municipal Hall on 01 August 2012, to assess the extent of the damage brought by TY GENER and Southwest Monsoon

• MDRRMCs Cardona and Angono reported that the water in Laguna Lake is in critical level as of 3:00 PM, 31 July 2012.

• BDRRMCs in San Mateo provided food for their respective evacuees. • MHO gave medical attention to four (4) sick evacuees in Baras, Rizal. • MDRRMO San Mateo, Rizal , conducted pre-emptive evacuation of 10 families in Brgy

• PDRRMO and MDRRMO - San Jose and Sablyan Occidental Mindoro both provided food packs to the affected families.

RDRRMC V

• OCD V coordinated with PCG and PNP Pilar, Sorsogon to facilitate transfer of passengers from the RORO to dry land using a rubber boat borrowed from LGU Pilar. Continuously coordinated with PDRRMCs and Police PPOs re weather situation and conducted preparation of relief goods for distribution to families affected by storm surge in Bulan, Sorsogon.

RDRRMC VI

• PDRRMC NEGROS OCCIDENTAL and LDRRMC BAGO CITY is continuously monitoring the situation and conducted relief operations to the families in the evacuation centers and the affected areas.

• MDRRMO BUGASONG, ANTIQUE, with the help of local folks, recovered the victim’s body at around 1:00 PM, 28 July 2012 during the Search and Retrieval operation.

• MDRRMO of Kalibo, Aklan provided relief assistance to the families affected in the evacuation area located at the Aklan Catholic College Gym

• LGU of Bago City and Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental extended family packs to affected families.

• LGU of Midsalip shouldered the burial expenses of t he four (4) landslide victims; provided medicines to the wounded victims; and, pro vided construction materials to the affected families.

• OCD IX provided the following assistance to the aff ected families of the landslide incident in Midsalip: � Financial assistance amounting to Php50,000.00 (Php 40,000.00 for the four

• OCD CAR coordinated with PPO and PDRRMO-Ifugao and DOH-CAR regarding the Motor Vehicular Accident in Hingyon, Ifugao.

• PDRRMC Benguet issued advisory on the temporary suspension of classes. Issued memorandum on the temporary suspension of Small Scale Mining Activities in Benguet; Mobilized Provincial Heavy Equipment to conduct road clearing operation (heavy equipment and manual work); Continuously monitoring the restoration of power by Benguet Electric Cooperative (BENECO) to sitio Atok, Tublay, Itogon, Bojkod, Kabayan, Kapangan and Tuba.

• Cordillera Regional DANA team was deployed to conduct rapid assessment within Baguio and Benguet province. Pre-emptive evacuation was given priority to high risk communities.

• CRDRRCM OpCen lowered its status to BLUE ALERT.

• OCD-CAR visited the wake of the dead victims and distributed financial assistance. Ongoing coordination and validation with the families of other dead victims who were not able to receive financial assistance is now being processed.

RDRRMC ARMM

• OCD ARMM has been activated since 28 July 2012. Conducted ocular visit and verification/validation of the flooded areas in Sultan Kudarat.

MMDRRMC

• OCD NCR disseminated NDRRMC Weather Advisory No. 03 (Final) for Low Pressure Area (LPA) and Southwest Monsoon and General Flood Advisory No.9 for NCR to Metro Manila DRRMCs and Regional offices thru facsimile transmission for information, appropriate action and widest dissemination.

• LGU San Juan dispatched and prepared rescue vehicle s for flood monitoring and ocular inspection of their AOR and for immediat e response. Continuously monitoring of the flood-prone and accident-prone ar eas in coordination with Local PNP, BFP, San Juan Falcon Volunteer Fire Brig ade, City Public Order & Safety Office and BDRRMCs.
