Date: Thursday, December 7th Time: 2 - 4 pm Location: McCourtney 206 Postdoc Corner Seeking Postdocs as Discussion Facilitators for the January 15, 2018 "Responsible Conduct for Researchers Ethics Workshop" Dear ND postdocs, this training and participation opportunity will look great on your resume/CV! The Graduate School's Office of Professional Development is seeking postdoctoral fellows from any department to lead peer discussions on ethics in research for the Responsible Conduct for Researchers Ethics Workshop January 15th, 2018 . This is an opportunity to gain relevant experience in teaching research ethics - something in which every university is engaged. Lab Discussion Facilitators (25) Postdoctoral fellows selected to be Lab Discussion Facilitators will be responsible for leading a 75-minute discussion session for a cohort of approximately 20 graduate students. The Discussion Facilitators will be expected to lead the participants through the interactive portion of The Lab video and engage the students in discussion surrounding The Lab video content. The Lab Discussion Facilitators will be responsible for asking the group discussion questions, such as "Do you agree with the choices made in the video? How would you have handled the situation differently? And what are the ethical implications of the choices made by the participants?" Lab Discussion Facilitators will be given a list of potential questions and will have access to The Lab video prior to the event. They are tasked with keeping the discussion moving and focused on the ethical context and implication of the video. Qualifications: Experience with ethics or with research settings

The Graduate School'sOffice of ProfessionalDevelopment is seeking postdoctoral fellows fromany department to lead peer discussions onethics in research for the Responsible Conductfor Researchers Ethics Workshop January15th, 2018. This is an opportunity to gainrelevant experience in teaching research ethics -something in which every university is engaged.
