Dear All,
The 2nd International Conference on Advances in Skin, Wound Care and Tissue Science will be organized on November 09-10, 2017 in Frankfurt, Germany. Topics of this conference will include all aspects of wound care, wound healing and tissue repair. As one of the major scientific organizations interested in wound care and wound healing, the Euro-Mediterranean Council for Burns and Fire Disasters (MBC) and its official publication, the Annals of Burns and Fire Disasters have been invited to collaborate actively with the organizers for the success of this conference. As MBC President, I have been invited together with several pioneers of wound healing to be part of the organizing committee. As you may be well aware, in addition to its major interest in burns management and prevention, MBC has already organized and collaborated in the organization of several local, regional and international conferences on wound care and wound healing among which are the 2nd WUWHS Meeting in 2004 in Paris, the 9th French National Conference on Wound Healing in 2005 in Paris, the 3rd Hellenic Wound Healing Conference in 2007 in Athens, the 3rd WUWHS Meeting in 2008 in Toronto, the 1st International Global Wound Care Conference in 2011 in Cape Town, the 4th International Burns & Wound Healing Symposium and Surgical Masterclass in 2013 in Hong Kong, and the Middle East Wounds and Scar Meeting in 2014 in Dubai. It is thus only natural that MBC contributes and collaborates in the organization of this conference in Frankfurt.
I invite all MBC members and readers of Annals of Burns and Fire Disasters to attend and actively participate in the 2nd International Conference on Advances in Skin, Wound Care and Tissue Science next November in Frankfurt.
Bishara Atiyeh, MD, FACSPresident, MBC | APSLD
