NFL GOM WEEKEND COMES THROUGH HUGE WITH A PERFECT 3-0 SUNDAY!! Northcoast LP Subscribers received a huge winning Sunday in the NFL as our plays went a Perfect 3-0 including a September Game of the Month Winner on the Patriots over the Raiders! To top the evening off, the Packers picked up a Marquee Upset Victory over the Saints on SNF! Plenty of narrow losses as far as the College LP Plays were concerned last weekend with the biggest punch in the gut coming on the final play of the Alabama/Missouri game. Down by 25 pts with under 10 seconds to play, Mizzou called a timeout and later ran for a 7-yd TD run on the final play to put the game over the total (Top Play 3.5H Under 56)! While our Top Side did cash easily with a 4H on BYU over Troy, our LP Sides went 1-2-1 with the previously mentioned totals LP selections going 1-1 (small college selections also 1-1 last weekend). This upcoming weekend, we will be releasing our first 5H rated LPS of the year! When we see potential for big releases we tend to hone in to that weekend as a huge winning week with matchups that we really feel strongly about. ALL 2020 subscribers will be receiving that 5H for FREE as part of your subscriber bonus - but if you want to be a part of ALL the action this weekend, check out page 8 as we have some Super Specials for 2020 subscribers with even BIGGER savings for 2021+ subs!

NFL POWER PLAYS (Free in LW’s Power Sweep) GOES 13.5-1 on H BASIS!!COMPUTER CORNER GOES A PERFECT 3-0 FOR 2ND STRAIGHT WEEK!!!

While we unfortunately had a rough weekend as far as College Power Sweep is concerned with our Key Selections going a surprising 0-4, our Computer Corner did impress with a perfect 3-0 mark for the 2nd straight week (plays on Arkansas, FIU and Syracuse). Meanwhile, our NFL H Rated plays went 2-1 with another blown 4Q by the Falcons keeping us from a Perfect 3-0 Day. With the NFL Sept GOM going a week ago, we also added in a free NFL Power Plays edition to LW’s Power Sweep Newsletter. We’re please to announce that those H Rated Selections went 5-1 overall (+12.5 H’s).

KEY SELECTIONS4H Tcu (+) over TEXAS - Texas leads all-time series 63-26-1, but since TCU joined Big 12 they are 6-2 SU/ATS. There have been 3 outright upsets the L4Y incl 2 by TCU and the home team is also on a 4-1 ATS run. LY the FD’s (22-21 TCU) and yds (447-435 Tex) were nearly equal, but QB Ehlinger threw 4 int’s that led to 13 TCU points & the Frogs (+1) won 37-27. Last wk TCU started QB Downing in 1H, but the orig starter Duggan came in the 2H and hit 16-19 (241 yds, 3 td) and almost led the comeback but threw a costly late INT. Texas is off a narrow win at TTech, where they needed OT to win (15-pt 4Q comeback) & QB Ehlinger accounted for 6 td’s. With Duggan healthy for TCU, he goes up against a Tex DEF that all’d 325 pass yds last wk & he did well vs an exp’d ISU secondary. Despite giving up 441 yds & 56 pts, the Tex DEF had 3 int’s that led to 21 pts. Texas is only 2-8 ATS as a Big 12 HF under Herman & 6-13 ATS as an overall Big 12 favorite. The L10Y TCU is 5-2 ATS vs a top 10 team as an AD & we like TCU to keep this gm close. FORECAST: TEXAS by 4 3H North Carolina over BOSTON COLLEGE - NC has won & covered 4 straight series mtgs including the only prior ACC meeting in 2013 34-10 (-6’). The Tar Heels had their game vs Charlotte cancelled last week. BC had a deceiving 26-6 win over Duke in their opener where they benefitted from TO’s then last week they trailed Texas St 21-7 3Q before rallying to win by a fg as nearly 3 td chalk. The Eagles only put up 297 yards against a team that allowed UTSA & ULM to both top 440. NC played a lackluster first 3Q vs Cuse back in their opener but they still managed to cover and finished +261 yards. QB Howell should have a better performance against BC’s secondary which finished #120 in our pass D rankings LY. The Eagles have 4 starting Oline and RB Bailey back but they’ve been held under 100 rush yds in each of their F/2. NC has won their L/4 games by 37 ppg. BC took 4 losses LY by 24 points or more and that’s where we’ve got this line. FORECAST: NORTH CAROLINA by 243H Navy over AIR FORCE - AF is just 5-12 SU since ‘03 but more recently have won 3 of the L/4 ATS. LY Navy (+3) was the home dog and got a 34-25 win, but their final TD was a late fumble return. This is AF’s first game while Navy already has 2 gms under their belt. In their last gm against 2 weeks ago Navy looked like they were on their way to another blowout loss, trailing 24-0 at HT (outgained 291-59) but held Tulane to 82 yds in the 2H and pulled off the largest comeback in Navy history, winning 27-24. AF could be without several players in this game, and for the season overall & the team is not releasing any new roster info. The Navy option still is getting up to speed (162 rush ypg, 3.4) but have the significant 2 GUB edge. While this is a rivarly it is tough to go against Navy, as we have no idea what to expect from AF this year. FORECAST: NAVY by 17

OTHER SELECTIONS2H Nc State (+) over PITTSBURGH - NCSt won the only previous ACC mtg in ‘17 35-17 (-11). The Wolfpack lost to a shorthanded VTech team last week 45-24 (+6’) but NCSt was also missing 3 defensive starters of their own. QB Hockman only completed 44% and threw 2 int’s before being replaced by Devin Leary who led 2 td drives in the 4Q. Pitt dominated the LOS last week in their 23-20 (-3) win over Louisville. The Panthers held the Cardinals to 223 yds and 10 FD’s and 75 yds for UL came on 1 play. The Panthers are holding foes to 178 ypg so far and only allowing 49% comple-tions (13 sks) but their offense doesn’t inspire enough to lay DD’s considering they only managed 23 points and 376 yds against one of the weaker ACC Def’s. Narduzzi is 8-14-1 as a HF, 3-8-1 as double-digit chalk and 0-3 as ACC DD chalk. QB Leary was this year’s presumed starter but lost the job due to illness, he’s healthy now and should be an upgrade over Hockman. FORECAST: PITTSBURGH by 6

OTHER GAMESFRIDAY OCTOBER 2NDLouisiana Tech at BYU - First meeting. BYU is off a dominating 48-7 win against Troy, where they outgained the Trojans 664-181 and out FD’d them 32-8 (4H LPS winner!). LTech faced FCS Houston Baptist & put up 66 pts & 542 yds and QB Anthony threw for 314 yds (5 td) and ran for a score. BYU QB Wilson is off to a great start this ssn, as he has thrown for 624 yds (78%, 4-1) and overall BYU has outscored their F/2 foes 103-10! LTech did only return 2 DEF st’rs this ssn & all’d 406 pass yds to Houston Baptist QB Zappe & now they face another talented QB. Also through their F/2 gms BYU’s DEF has all’d just 165 ypg & collected 9 sks. LA is an impressive 8-2 ATS off of a SU win, and while BYU was just 2-6 ATS LY vs non-power 5 teams, they are 2-0 ATS in that role this year and LTech has the elevation to deal with in Provo, but both teams are playing on short rest. Call 1-800-654-3448 to get our Thurs Night Marquee for just $12!SATURDAY OCTOBER 3RDCINCINNATI by 17 over Usf - Cincy leads series 10-7 SU. LY Cincy (-13’) travelled to USF, but trailed 17-3 in the 3Q but came back to win 20-17 (GW FG as time expired). Incl last year USF has covered the past 5 meetings. USF was set to play FAU last week, but that gm was cancelled and Cincy is off a 24-10 win against Army at home where they kept the option offense out of the EZ. USF last played 2 wks ago against NDame & they were shutout 52-0 (outgained 429-231). Cincy has not had any issues with missing gms or practice & they return a stout DEF with 9 starters back. USF is dealing with covid issues and has to travel again. The situation is not great for USF, but Cincy did only go 1-4 ATS LY as home double digit chalk and are off a tough game vs Army.Florida by 13 over South Carolina - Florida has won 4 out of the last 5 meetings including last year 38-27 (-5) though SC did lead 20-17 entering the 4Q and finished with a 387-354 yd edge. The Gators’ offense had a huge opener vs Ole Miss, putting up 642 yds but also allowing 613. FL led 28-14 at half. Ole Miss never got within 14 in the 2H and scored their final td with :58 left. QB Trask threw for 416 yds and 6 td’s, connecting with TE Pitts for 170 and 4 td’s. SC enters off a 31-27 (+3’) loss vs Tenn. SC controlled the LOS more than expected and the Gamecocks were in position to get the ball back with a chance to win but the ball hit an SC player on the punt, effectively ending the game. This is the largest line in this game since 2008 and Muschamp is 13-8 as an underdog including 4-1 as a dog of 20 or more.GEORGIA ST by 3 over East Carolina - First meeting. ECU was 27’ pt dogs last week at UCF. They trailed 51-21 late 4Q but covered thanks to a td with :19 left. GSt had their game last week cancelled vs Charlotte due to positive covid tests, so they could be without some players here. ECU gave up 208 rush ypg (5.1) last year & face a GSt team that likes to run (242, 5.3 in ‘19) and ran for 223 yds vs solid LA defense two wks ago. ECU gave up 632 yds last wk in a 51-28 loss at home vs UCF. ECU does have QB Ahlers back (3387, 60%, 21-10) who had 3 td passes last week, and he faces a GSt secondary that finished #125 LY, but GSt added two Power 5 transfers at safety. Georgia St nearly upset a ranked Louisiana squad 2 weeks ago and ECU is only 4-8 ATS vs non conf.Virginia Tech by 17 over DUKE - VT is out for revenge after getting embarrassed at home by Duke last year 45-10 (-2’). VT is 13-3 SU but only 8-8 ATS in ACC meetings. The home team has lost 6 of the last 7 meetings and is 2-5 ATS. VT was without 23 players including QB Hooker (inj) as well as DC Hamilton. QB Burmeister started but left with an inj. Despite all these issues VT still jumped to a 17-0 1Q lead and led 45-17 when NCSt added a td in garbage time. The Hokies ran for 314 yards. Duke led UVA 20-17 3Q last week before falling apart with TO’s in the 4Q and lost 38-20 (+4’). Duke finished with 7 TO’s and QB Brice now has 6 int’s in his last 2 games. The Hokies held a solid NCSt

run game to 139 rush (3.3) and Duke only avg 88 (2.7). The revenge minded Hokies have covered 6 of their last 8 while Duke has failed to cover 5 of their last 7. VT has an aggressive defense and Duke’s TO issues have us leaning with the Hokies.TENNESSEE by 14 over Missouri - MO is 5-3 SU/ATS in this series. QB Guarantano had a career best 415 pass yards last year and the Vols 24-20 (+4) win made them bowl eligible. MO enters off a 38-19 (+29) home loss vs Bama. The Tigers were outgained 315-113 in the 1H, trailed 35-3 3Q and both of their td drives came in the last 9 minutes, including a td on the final play of the game, wrecking our top LP Totals play in the process. Tenn pulled out a 31-27 (-3’) win at SC last week. The Vols have a significant experience edge with 17 starters back vs 11. This is Drinkwitz first SEC road game and there will be around 25,000 fans in attendance. Tenn is 3-9 as a HF but they’ve covered 5 of their last 6 SEC games and MO is only 4-8 as an AD.WEST VIRGINIA by 4 over Baylor - Teams have met 8 times, all as Big 12 foes. WVU is 5-3 SU in the series, but Baylor is 5-3 ATS. LY despite Baylor having a 453-219 yd edge, the Bears only won by a FG 17-14. Baylor had 3 TO’s and WVU’s two scores came on an 83 yd TD pass & a 95 yd KR TD. Baylor had had 2 gms PPD already this year, and just played their opener last week vs Kansas, and only outgained KU 352-328, but got 2 KR TD’s. WVU has 2 gms under belt incl game last week’s 27-13 loss at Okla St. Baylor has an inexp’d DEF & is still getting up to speed and face a WVU team with 14 st’rs back incl 8 OFF incl QB Doege. Baylor QB Brewer did hit 20-26 for 277 & 2 td LY, but WVU looks to have an improved pass DEF. WVU was 0-4 ATS LY as a Big 12 home dog & Baylor was 3-0 ATS as road chalk the L3Y. But this is a different Baylor team & their inexp/1st year HC put them at a disadvantage while WVU is at home & are more exp’d. The home tm is 5-3 ATS in this series & we will lean with the Mountaineers.CLEMSON by 25 over Virginia - Rematch of LY’s ACC Title game won by Clemson 62-17 (-28’). The Tigers are well rested after a bye week that proceeded a 49-0 win over FCS Citadel. Virginia played their first game last week. The Cavaliers (-4’) trailed Duke 20-17 entering the 4Q then scored the final 21 points. UVA finished with 450-342 yd & 25-17 FD edges and forced 7 TO’s! QB Lawrence threw for 302 and 4 td’s in this matchup LY. UVA has a veteran defense led by LB’s Snowden & Taylor. QB Armstrong threw for 269 (53%, 2-2) in his first career start. Clemson is on a 17-3-1 ATS run vs ACC foes and while they didn’t cover their SEC opener against WF, they did lead 35-3 before subbing allowed WF to score 10 late points. However, Clemson does have Miami on deck and Mendenhall is on an 8-4 ATS run as an underdog. We gave away an easy Sept 5H winner with Clemson in ‘18 when they beat GTech 49-21 (-16). Could we go against them this time?Oklahoma by 7 over IOWA ST - Since ’98 Iowa St has won just 1 time SU (38-31 win back in ’17 at OU) but Iowa St has won L/4 meetings ATS. Last ssn ISU (+14’) nearly pulled another upset at Oklahoma, but missed the GW 2-point attempt & lost 42-41. QB Purdy threw for 282 yds & 5 TD. Iowa St gave up 374 yds in 1H (trailed 35-14) but held OU in 2H to 125 yds & 7 pts in 2H (forced 2 TO’s). Oklahoma was upset for the 2nd straight year vs KSt and now face a tougher test & QB Rattler is making Big 12 road start (3 int’s last week), but ISU will have limited fans (15,000 max). ISU is off a tougher test, as they went to TCU and won 37-34, but all’d 499 yds. Oklahoma is just 3-7-1 ATS as away chalk in Big 12 play under Riley while Iowa St is 8-3-1 ATS as home dog under Campbell. Overall as underdog ISU is 18-9-1 under Campbell. The final score has been within 10 pts the last 4 meetings & we expect another close game here.SMU by 3 over Memphis - Memphis has won 6 in row both SU and ATS, winning by an avg of 30 points & covering by an avg of 18 points. LY was the closest of the last 6 mtgs, as Memphis (-5.5) won an OFF slug fest 54-48 (SMU 553-514 yd edge) and barely covered. SMU has 3 gms under belt and are off to a 3-0 start after their 50-7 win vs FCS SF Austin, while Memphis has not played since their Sep. 5th win vs Ark St (37-24) due to positive Covid tests. SMU is avg’g 356 pass yds this season vs FBS foes, and in their lone gm Memphis gave up pass 299 yds vs Ark St. LY Memp QB White threw for 350 yds LY and SMU has all’d 467 ypg this ssn on DEF vs FBS foes. We think the Mustangs have a big edge since Memphis has had little practice time due to positive tests. Memphis is talented but lost RB Gainwell (opted out), and they have not played in nearly a month. SMU is experienced and clearly capable of the upset.UCF by 15 over Tulsa - Going back to 2008, Tulsa is 7-1 SU/6-2 ATS against UCF. Last season UCF (-17) was at Tulsa, and led 28-17 at HT but only scored a FG in 2H and were upset 34-31 (UCF -3 TO’s), so the Knights are playing with revenge on their mind. Tulsa’s game was cancelled last wk & 2 wks ago it was announced RB Brooks was OFY (ACL) and Tulsa lost 16-7 to Okla St two wks ago. UCF’s pass attack has been performing well early in the ssn, avg’g 413 yds and Tulsa’s DEF just has 4 st’rs back incl just 1 starter back in secondary. Tulsa does do well in the underdog role, and were 4-1 ATS LY as a conf dog while UCF struggled as conf chalk a year ago, going just 2-6 ATS LY. UCF has been the more impressive team early, and while we like them to win, it is tough to ingore Tulsa’s ATS record in the series & we will cut our lean off at under 3 td’s.COASTAL CAROLINA by 1 over Arkansas St - Only the 4th meeting, Ark St has won all 3 gms SU, and are 2-1 ATS. LY CCar (+13) went up 27-21 late 4Q but Ark St drove 76 yds for GW TD with just 32 sec left. Ark St has had L/2 gms wiped out due to covid. Ark St last played 2 weeks ago & upset Kansas St 35-31. CCar has not had any major interruptions during this season, and their new QB McCall is hitting 65% for 406 yds & a 5-0 ratio (also ran for 2 td) through 2 gms incl a road upset at Kansas. CCar is running the ball well this ssn (189, 4.8) and LY against Ark St RB Marable ran for 142 yds (5.1). LY CCar gave up the highest comp % in the FBS and lost both starting CB’s & face an Ark St pass attack led by 2 strong QB’s & are avg’g 315 yds this ssn. There is some uncertainty surrounding Ark St (some players could miss gm) vs exp’d CCar team off a scheduled bye week & CCar is 8-2-1 ATS as a single-digit dog under HC Chadwell. We won our Underdog POW in week 1 with the Chanticleers, could we go with them for our Sept 5H?Troy by 12 over SOUTH ALABAMA - Battle for the Belt. Troy is 3-4-1 ATS in the series (5-3 SU) but have won 2 in a row SU/ATS. LY Troy (-16’) led 23-13 going into 4Q and got 2 td’s incl a pick six to pull away and win 37-13 (432-274) . Troy is off a trip to BYU where they were hammered 48-7 (outgained 664-181!) while SAla had a couple extra days to rest after their 42-10 Thurs night loss vs UAB. While Troy was not able to get anything going on OFF last wk, they should fare better vs a SAla secondary that gave up 319 yds to a RS frosh QB making his first start last wk. SAla does have a trio of talented WR’s and their OFF should produce more vs a Troy DEF that all’d 472 pass yds to BYU. Neither team was impressive last wk, but Troy was in a tough spot last wk vs BYU and should fare better vs a foe on their level (beat Mid Tenn 47-14 2 wks ago) we will lean with a Troy team that comes in with an 8-3 ATS record the L4Y as AF incl 3-1 ATS under Lindsey.

OTHER COLLEGE GAMES cont from page 3KANSAS ST by 6 over Texas Tech - KSt has dominated this matchup of late. Since ‘11 KSt is 8-1 SU/7-2 ATS against TT. LY KSt (+2’) was outgained 512-372, but they forced 2 int’s and had a 100-yd KR for TD to win 30-27. KSt has also pulled 3 straight outright upsets in the series. KSt comes in off another upset of Okla last week, where despite getting outgained 517-400 they forced 4 TO’s (14 pts of TO’s). TT is off a loss to Texas, where they led by 15 pts late 4Q (Texas 2 TD’s in final 3 min) but lost in OT. TT’s DEF faces another talented veteran QB in Thompson who threw for 334 a wk ago (3 rush td’s). KSt’s pass DEF did allow OU QB Rattler to throw for 387 yds but did have 3 int’s, and this wk they face TT QB Bowman who has thrown for 755 yds (66%, 7-4) this ssn. LY off their win vs OU, KSt did not have a let down the following wk (won 38-10 vs Kansas). TT is just 2-5 ATS off a SU loss under Wells, but it is concerning that KSt is on an 0-10 ATS slide as a Big 12 home favorite. These tms appear to be evenly matched, and we will side with the series history but limit our lean on TT to around a TD.Oklahoma St by 25 KANSAS - Since 1998 Okla St is 15-1 SU & 11-3-2 ATS vs Kansas. LY OSU (-17’) jumped out to a 31-0 lead, but Kansas got 2 late TD’s (failed on a 2-pt try) & OSU barely held on for the cover, winning 31-13. KU only gave up 352 yds to Baylor last wk but all’d 2 KR TD’s and lost 47-14, while Okla St won 27-13 and had 2 RB’s (Brown, Hubbard) go over 100 yds but were outgained by WVU (forced 2 fumbles). OSU frosh QB Illingworth started (Sanders inj’d vs Tulsa) The OSU DEF (10 st’rs back) has been solid early on, holding foes to 316 ypg & 10 pts this ssn. Last ssn OSU held KU RB Williams to 26 rush yds (2.2), and true frosh QB Daniels made his first start last wk but faces a much more exp’d DEF. KU is 5-0 ATS the L2Y as a Big 12 dog of 20+ points, but the L3Y OSU is 7-3 ATS as a DD favorite, and after last week it is tough to justify leaning with KU, even if OSU QB Sanders still is unable to go. UAB by 31 over Utsa - UAB has won & covered each of the last 3 meetings with the last 2 com-ing by 19 & 49 points. The Blazers entered the season as CUSA West favorites while UTSA was projected near the basement. UAB gets extra rest after crushing South Alabama on the road, 42-10 (-6’) last Thurs. QB Lucero got his first career start and threw for 319 and 2 td’s, connecting with WR Watkins for 183 (26.1). UTSA enters 3-0 after beating Middle Tenn 37-35 (-6’) last Fri. The RoadRun-ners allowed 563 yards to a team that only averaged 213 ypg in their first 2 and UTSA finished -172 yds & -11 FD’s. UAB has been world beaters at home, going 19-0 SU and 12-1-2 ATS vs FBS foes. UTSA isn’t nearly as good as their record indicates and the Blazers get a giant coaching edge with Clark against 1st year HC Traylor. We don’t mind laying big points and UAB is certainly worthy of consideration for our first 5H.ALABAMA by 11 over Texas A&M - Bama has won 7 straight series meetings (4-3 ATS) since A&M won the first SEC meeting between these two. Bama won 47-28 (-17) last year although they only had a +59 yd edge with ST’s playing a huge role. Bama dominated for 3Q last week vs MO, leading 35-3 3Q and allowing 2 td’s late 4Q including one on the games’ final play. A&M will need a much better performance after only beating Vandy 17-12 as 30’ pt chalk. The Aggies took some significant losses with their starting LB, CB and WR opting out. Bama didn’t have any key players opt out and they got 2 key LB’s back from LY’s injuries. The Tide held MO to 113 yds in the 1H last week. Fisher is 5-3 as a dog at A&M and they were clearly looking ahead to this game so we expect a better performance by the Aggies.KENTUCKY by 11 over Mississippi - The last 2 meetings in this series resulted in outright upsets. We actually won our Totals GOY back in ‘17 on this game when Ole Miss upset Kentucky 37-34 (+3’). The ‘Cats enter off a 29-13 (+7) loss at Auburn that should have been much closer. KY had an apparent td at the end of the 1H but was ruled down then followed by throwing an int. KY trailed 15-13 4Q before giving Aub 21 & 23 yd td drives. New HC Kiffin’s offense looked impressive last week, putting up 613 yds in a 51-35 (+14) loss to Florida. QB Corral threw for 395 yds and 3 td’s. The Rebels also allowed 642 yds including 446 pass! Ole Miss only has 5 starters back on defense and it looked like they will go through some growing pains after last week’s performance. We like the home ‘Cats who have big edges on Oline and defense to get the job done.Wku by 6 over MIDDLE TENNESSEE - WKU has won 4 of the last 5 meetings (3-2 ATS). The home team is 5-1 SU/4-2 ATS. Both teams are hard to trust right now. MT did show a much better perfor-mance last week, losing 37-35 (+6’) at UTSA. After putting up just 425 yards in their first 2 games they finished with 563 last week. QB O’Hara looked more like last year’s version, throwing for 373 and rushing for 61. WKU enters off a bye. The week prior they put up a disappointing performance as 14’ pt home chalk, losing to Liberty 30-24. The ‘Toppers got 9 starters back from a defense that allowed 20.1 ppg last year but they allowed 487 vs the Flames and were gashed for 168 rush yds the Lib’s QB. Now WKU faces QB in O’Hara who topped 1,000 rush LY and rushed for 144 against the ‘Toppers. Hard to trust either team right now but Helton is 2-5 as chalk and we like the underdog Blue Raiders to stay within a td.Georgia Southern by 20 over ULM - GS is 4-1 SU as SBC foes, but just 2-3 ATS. LY GS (-6’) was actually outgained 370-334 by ULM but forced 3 TO’s, ran an onside kick back for TD & got pick six in a 51-29 win. GS is off a 20-18 loss at ranked LA (Cajuns GW 53-yd FG on last play) while ULM struggled with UTEP at home, losing 31-6 (outgained 512-193). The ULM rush attack is a big concern, as they are avg’g just 37 rush ypg (1.9) after running for 207 ypg (5.5) LY. ULM RB Johnson had 7 gms LY with 100+ rush yds, through 3 gms this ssn he has just 108 TOTAL rush yds (2.8). ULM also split snaps between QB’s Suits & Hunt last wk. In GS’s 4 wins vs ULM they ran the ball for 347 ypg (5.6) & the Warhawks have all’d 263 rush ypg (5.3) this ssn. GS got several of their key players back last wk and with a GUB with a full team, the Eagles could be ready to strike vs a ULM that is struggling to find their way. GS has huge exp edge (#17 vs #117) and ULM is just 5-17-1 ATS at home & are 4-12-1 ATS at home vs SBC foes under Viator.

GEORGIA by 10 over Auburn - UGA is on a 6-1 SU/ATS run and the home team is 9-4 SU/10-3 ATS in this series. Both teams enter off deceiving wins. Aub beat KY 29-13 (-7) but they were outgained 384-324, out FD’d 21-15, benefitted from +3 TO’s and a bad missed call that ultimately cost KY a touchdown at the end of the 1H. Aub only led 15-13 3Q and their L/2 td drives covered 23 & 27 yds after a KY fumble and botched punt. UGA has some serious questions on offense after LW’s 37-10 (-28) win over Ark. UGA actually trailed 7-5 at half and while they did score 32 pts in the 2H, they only actually had 2 sustained drives with the rest coming off TO’s that gave UGA a short field. The Dawgs could get USC transfer JT Daniels back for this game (inj) which could alleviate some of those concerns but even that doesn’t address a struggling rebuilt Oline (121, 2.9 rush LW). Ultimately we do lean with UGA who may have the best defense in the country and has owned this series of late so we will call for the Dawgs to win by over a touchdown.Lsu by 24 over VANDERBILT - LSU is 6-0 SU/3-2-1 ATS vs Vandy since 1997, winning those by 19 ppg. The Tigers had to replace nearly their entire team from LY’s Nat’l Title squad and to make matters worse they lost CB Stingley to an illness during the week. With a depleted secondary they were no match for Mike Leach’s pass offense and they allowed 623 pass yards in their 44-34 (-16’) home loss. Vandy had to deal with signifiant losses at OL and LB due to injuries and opt outs yet the ‘Dores only lost at A&M 17-12 as 30’ pt dogs. Vandy was outgained 376-255 but did finish even in FD’s. The ‘Dores were competitive against A&M but they’ve got a frosh QB and a rebuilt Oline. LSU has a massive talent edge and will be hungry to rebound after their loss. Vandy was 1-4 as an AD LY and we like the Tigers to cruise by more than 3 td’s.MISSISSIPPI ST by 13 over Arkansas - Miss St is 7-1 SU/5-3 ATS vs Ark. The visitor is 5-2 ATS in this series. We picked up a 3H Totals winner on the UNDER 53 last when in Ark’s 37-10 (+28) loss vs UGA. The Hogs actually led 7-5 at half but ran out of gas on defense and TO’s led to 14 quick points. Mike Leach’s offense looked like it was on full tilt last week in their 44-34 (+16’) win at LSU. Stanford transfer KJ Costello became the first SEC QB to top 600 pass yards, throwing for 623. The Hogs only finished #118 in our pass defense rankings LY and while they have 3 starters back, they are learning a new system so it could be more huge numbers for Costello. We think there is a bit of an overreaction to Miss St’s performance last week against a depleted LSU secondary and Arkansas showed life in the first half vs UGA before turnovers made the game appear to be a blowout. We will take the points here.NORTH TEXAS by 7 over Southern Miss - The home team is 4-1 SU/ATS in this series. Southern Miss won 45-27 (-3) last year but NT had won the previous 3 SU/ATS. Southern Miss is 0-3 SU & ATS after getting crushed last week at home by Tulane. The Golden Eagles led 21-14 2Q then were held without a touchdown the rest of the game and were outgained 572-369 in a 66-24 (+3’) loss. North Texas had their game vs Houston cancelled. It looks like former minor league baseball player and Arkansas transfer Austin Aune will be the starting QB took over against SMU two weeks ago and threw 2 td passes. North Texas is avg 286 (5.4) rush ypg and Southern Miss is allowing 252 (5.6) though they did hold LT to 3.9 ypc 2 weeks ago. SM has failed to cover 6 straight while NT is on a 4-19 ATS run so it’s hard to back either team. NT has at least shown signs of life and we like the new QB so it’s Mean Green by a td.

COMPUTERUNDERDOG PLAY OF THE WEEKOver 38 years this play has been a reader favorite and now has a com-bined record of 58% winners over 38 years!! Outright upsets have been a major theme in recent years including one outright winner this season!! Here is This week's Underdog Play:

Charlotte +9’ over FAUCharlotte over FAU - FAU got revenge last year, beating Charlotte 45-27 (-1). LTH FAU needed a win to get bowl eligible but Charlotte got a 56 yd GW fg. FAU had their second straight game cancelled last week. Charlotte also had their game vs North Carolina cancelled. This is FAU’s 1st game under new HC Willie Taggart who also didn’t get a spring with his team while Charlotte is playing their 2nd game and are under 2nd year HC Will Healy. The Owls took a huge loss in August when 1st Tm All CUSA QB Robison was dismissed. FAU also lost both their All-CUSA LB’s in the offseason, leaving them with just 3 starters back on defense. The 49ers may be without QB Reynolds who was injured in the opener. Bkp QB Shoffner is a big body and a solid runner. FAU was an extremely fortunate team last year (+21 TO’s) and with a new QB, lack of experience and playing their first game we can’t help but call for Charlotte to go back to ‘Club Lit’ and pull the upset. The Power Plays Newsletter consists of forecasts that are made by a special rating system. You will see in the write-ups that we agree with the majority of the PP forecasts. However, there are times when we will disagree. We want to make it clear that this is the PP Newsletter and these forecasts are based purely on the power ratings. If the PP’s rating is strong enough to be a 4H Play, yet we are on the other side of the game, we will clearly state that we like the other side of the game. With all that said here are this week’s PP Selections.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2ND Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sLOUISIANA TECH 261 62 199 18 +7 -BYU 569 228 341 44 +1 444 BYU has outscored foes 103-10 this ssn and PP calls for BYU to be +308 yds & win by 26. BYU has a ST edge & home field edge (elevation). Call 1-800-654-3448 for the Thurs Night Marquee.

NO PLAY: BYU 44 LOUISIANA TECH 18

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3RD Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sUSF 290 132 158 11 +5 -CINCINNATI 415 226 189 33 +6 4444 USF had gm cancelled last wk & UC won tough gm vs Army. USF lost 52-0 two wks ago at ND and PP favors UC’s ST’s & calls for them to win by 22 but UC was just 1-4 ATS LY as a DD HD, pass.

NO PLAY: CINCINNATI 33 USF 11 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sSOUTH CAROLINA 336 81 255 21 +3 -FLORIDA 490 144 346 38 +5 4 UF is off a DD win over Ole Miss but gave up over 600 yds. SC was in position to pull the upset vs Tenn LW. PP calls for UF to win by 17 pts but Muschamp is 4-1 as a dog of 20 or more. Pass.

NO PLAY: FLORIDA 38 SOUTH CAROLINA 21 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sEAST CAROLINA 455 166 289 31 +1 444GEORGIA ST 443 198 245 33 +1 - GSt had gm cancelled last wk & ECU is off 23 pt loss to UCF. PP calls for the yds ad pts to be close & ECU has the ST’s edge but this is right near the opening line so we’ll pass.

NO PLAY: GEORGIA ST 33 EAST CAROLINA 31 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sNORTH CAROLINA 497 182 315 32 +8 4BOSTON COLLEGE 394 165 229 25 +5 - NC is on a 4-0 SU/ATS streak, winning by 37 ppg. BC trailed TXSt 21-7 LW and struggled to move the ball. PP only has NC winning by a td but we think the Tar Heels will continue their domination.

NO PLAY: NORTH CAROLINA 32 BOSTON COLLEGE 25 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sVIRGINIA TECH 412 199 213 33 -4 4444DUKE 322 91 231 15 -11 - Revenge minded Hokies are off an impressive win despite missing 23 players including QB Hooker and their DC. VT has edges in all 3 phases and PP calls for an 18 pt win. We agree, go Hokies!

4.5H VIRGINIA TECH 33 DUKE 15 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sMISSOURI 260 89 171 13 +1 -TENNESSEE 422 170 252 30 -1 44444 MO was down 35-3 at half LW, Tenn beat SC on the road despite having a disjointed practice schedule. PP calls for Vols to have 422-260 yd edge with a HUGE ST edge. We agree with PP. Lay it and play it!

4H TENNESSEE 30 MISSOURI 13 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sBAYLOR 302 112 190 27 +11 -WEST VIRGINIA 437 169 268 26 -6 4 PP calls for BU to get 1 pt win, but forecasts WVU to be +135 yds and we agree w/ the yds edge as BU is still an inexp’d team that won big vs Kansas & now has to go on the road for the 1st time.

1H WEST VIRGINIA (+) 26 BAYLOR 27 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sVIRGINIA 244 60 184 14 -3 4CLEMSON 513 183 330 41 +15 - Clemson is projected to have 513-244 yd edge but the projected MOV is close to the opening Vegas line. PP doesn’t take into account that the Tigers have Miami on deck though.

NO PLAY: CLEMSON 41 VIRGINIA 14 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sNC STATE 266 109 157 19 -13 -PITTSBURGH 376 148 228 31 -8 - NCSt should get QB Leary back this week. PP calls for Pitt to win by DD’s with a +110 yd edge. Pitt has trouble getting distance on foes so we think this ends closer than the projected MOV.

NO PLAY: PITTSBURGH 31 NC STATE 19 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sOKLAHOMA 447 111 336 35 -8 444444IOWA ST 415 127 288 31 -3 - OU is off loss vs KSt, while ISU won at TCU. ISU has won L/4 ATS & have stayed within 10 pts in all 4. BIG ST’s edge for OU, but Campbell does well as a dog (18-9-1 ATS) & we agree with PP.

NO PLAY: OKLAHOMA 35 IOWA ST 31 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sMEMPHIS 509 220 289 40 -1 44444SMU 475 177 298 35 +4 - Mem has won L/6 both SU/ATS. While PP calls for Mem to win & have yd edge (BIG ST edge too) it doesnt take into account situation, SMU played last wk while Mem has not played in a month.

NO PLAY: MEMPHIS 40 SMU 35 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sTULSA 387 170 217 23 -1 -UCF 551 222 329 42 +6 - TU is 7-1 SU/6-2 ATS vs UCF since ‘08. TU DNP last wk while UCF won at ECU. PP gives yds edge to UCF (+164) and calls for them to win by nearly 3 td’s, which is right near the opening line.

NO PLAY: UCF 42 TULSA 23 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sARKANSAS ST 484 163 322 38 -3 -COASTAL CAROLINA 396 178 218 32 -4 4 CCar is 8-2-1 ATS as a single digit dog under Chadwellwhile Ark St had another gm PPD last week. We disagree with the PP final score but agree with the total points so we will take the Over!

Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sNAVY 339 265 74 24 +6 4AIR FORCE 413 285 128 33 -2 - PP projects AF to have the yd edge & win by 9 pts, but it does not factor Navy having 2 GUB edge while AF could be missing several players here. We disagree & like Navy in this matchup.

NO PLAY: AIR FORCE 33 NAVY 24 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sTROY 419 134 285 32 -2 4SOUTH ALABAMA 425 132 293 26 -6 - Battle for the Belt. Both tms are off bad losses & PP projects SAla to have the yd edge, but lose by 6 pts. With the proj’d score right near the line, this is a no play.

NO PLAY: TROY 32 SOUTH ALABAMA 26 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sTEXAS TECH 406 103 303 29 +4 -KANSAS ST 438 150 288 39 +1 4 KSt has pulled 3 straight outright upsets vs TTech & are on a 7-2 ATS run. KSt is onlt proj’d +32 yds but PP is calling for a 10 pt win. We like KSt in this gm & agree with the computer.

3H KANSAS ST 39 TEXAS TECH 29 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sOKLAHOMA ST 430 229 201 39 -1 -KANSAS 322 112 210 13 -12 - Last wk KU lost at Baylor 47-14. OSU is on a 11-3-2 ATS run vs KU. We agree with the proj’d score as KU has still not shown signs of life & OSU could get QB Sanders back here.

4H OKLAHOMA ST 39 KANSAS 13 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sUTSA 294 149 145 20 -6 -UAB 537 219 318 41 -8 4 UAB has been a dominant team at home since their rebirth, going 19-0 SU and 12-2-1 ATS vs FBS foes. PP calls for UAB to hold a +243 yd edge but the MOV is at the opening Vegas line.

NO PLAY: UAB 41 UTSA 20 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sTCU 352 122 230 27 0 -TEXAS 443 194 249 40 +5 4 4 4 TCU is off close loss while TX beat TT in OT. TCU is 6-2 SU/ATS vs TX & PP calls for a TX 13 pt win. We disagree with the MOV but agree with the total pts and call for this to go OVER the total.

4H OVER 59’ TEXAS 40 TCU 27 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sTEXAS A&M 329 127 202 21 -6 -ALABAMA 456 160 296 37 +18 4 4 A&M is better than their performance LW vs Vandy and we think they were clearly looking ahead. Bama projected to win by more than 2 td’s but that’s right at the opening line so this is a no play.

NO PLAY: ALABAMA 37 TEXAS A&M 21 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sMISSISSIPPI 418 206 212 25 +1 -KENTUCKY 499 234 265 33 -1 4444 KY projected to win by 8 but line is 6’ and yards indicate a closer game so we’ll look elsewhere.

NO PLAY: KENTUCKY 33 MISSISSIPPI 25 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sWKU 360 137 223 30 -6 4 4MIDDLE TENNESSEE 399 156 243 21 +3 - Surprising these 2 are comb’d 0-5 SU. PP projects WKU to win by 9 but MT to hold a +39 yd edge. Neither team inspires much confidence which is probably why the projection is all over the place.

NO PLAY: WKU 30 MIDDLE TENNESSEE 21 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sCHARLOTTE 423 199 224 31 -4 -FAU 492 216 276 36 +21 - FAU playing their first game. UC had their L/2 games cancelled. PP lean is with the 49ers and isn’t even taking into account the Owls new HC, no spring and playing first game. Sounds like a play.

2H CHARLOTTE 31 (+) FAU 36 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sGEORGIA SOUTHERN 435 302 133 34 +8 4 4ULM 343 69 274 17 0 - GS got players back last wk & nearly upset LA while ULM is struggling to get anything going on OFF or DEF. PP calls for GS to win by 17 pts, which is near the opening line making it a no play.

NO PLAY: GEORGIA SOUTHERN 34 ULM 17 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sAUBURN 240 59 181 16 +6 -GEORGIA 404 139 265 26 +3 - UGA struggled at QB last week but they’ve got a big edge on defense and Aub could have easily lost vs KY last week. PP calls for a +164 yd edge and a DD win for the Dawgs, we agree.

3H GEORGIA 26 AUBURN 16 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sLSU 413 153 260 28 +10 44444VANDERBILT 284 93 191 15 -2 - Last week LSU was facing a unique style and was missing their best DB. We like the Tigers defense to bounce back after a poor performance and Vandy is young on offense so play the UNDER!

3H UNDER 50 LSU 28 VANDERBILT 15 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sARKANSAS 368 150 218 28 -5 4MISSISSIPPI ST 513 102 411 42 +1 - MSU put up huge yards in their opening win over LSU but Ark was beating UGA at half and we think putting the Bulldogs at -17 is an overreaction. PP calls for a slightly closer game and we agree.

2H ARKANSAS 28 (+) MISSISSIPPI ST 42 Ttl Yds Rush Pass Points TO’s ST’sSOUTHERN MISS 467 169 298 37 -11 4NORTH TEXAS 449 194 255 36 -6 - SM is on an 0-6 ATS run. NT is on a 4-19 ATS run. PP calls for SM to win, we like NT at home.

The Ravens are sitting on an outstanding 11-1 ATS run as of presstime but they do head on the road on short rest following their MNF battle with the Chiefs. While WAS was able to pull the home upset in Wk 1 against the Eagles, the past 2 weeks have seen them drop road contests to ARZ (15 pt loss, +7) and CLE (14 pt loss, +7). In their most recent matchup back in ‘16, the hometown Ravens (-4) fell 16-10 (2nd consec loss in the series). With BAL having covered 4 consec matchups as a NDIV AF (21 pt avg MOV) and WAS dropping 5 in a row ATS against the AFC, a 17 pt lean for the visitor seems about right.LA RAMS by 14 over Ny Giants - While the Giants moved to 0-3 on the year following a 27 pt home loss against the 49ers a week ago (SF 29-13 FD & 420-231 yd edges), they do head on the road with an impressive 13-2 ATS mark when listed as a NDIV AD (3H LP Winner over CHI 2 weeks ago!). The Rams meanwhile suffered their 1st defeat of 2020 LW in their 2nd straight matchup on the East Coast as BUF got a GW 3-yd TD pass w/:15 left after blowing a 28-3 lead in the 3Q (LAR 478-375 yd edge). In their most recent matchup back in ‘17, the Rams (-4’) finished with a 473-319 yd edge in a 51-17 blowout victory (NYG had gone 7-0 SU/ATS in the series prior). With the Rams covering 4 of their L/5 as a NDIV HF and capturing a solid Wk 1 victory over the Cowboys in their 1st matchup in SoFi Stadium, we’ll go ahead and give them a 2 TD lean in this one.Buffalo by 7 over LAS VEGAS - Following a rough trip to Foxboro that saw the Raiders surrender 250 yds on the ground to the Patriots in a 16 pt defeat (4H Sept GOM Winner on NE!), they return home to take on a 3-0 Bills squad that nearly lost LW at home despite a 28-3 lead in the 3Q (QB Allen 319 ttl yds & 5 TD’s). The Bills ended a 2-game losing skid in this series back in ‘17 as they benefitted from a 4-0 TO edge in the 34-14 victory. With the Raiders failing to cover 18 of their L/26 as a NDIV HD and the Bills needing a victory to stay ahead of the Patriots in the early season AFC East standings, we’ll go ahead and give the visitor a TD lean in this one.Philadelphia at SAN FRANCISCO - SNF - This matchup appears to have lost some of its luster as the Eagles head to the Bay Area sitting at 0-2-1 following a tie against the winless Bengals while the 49ers return home after a 2-week trip to MetLife where they lost a handful of starters in their 2 victories (bkp QB Mullens 25-36-343-1-0 for SF in 36-9 win). In the Eagles’ most recent meeting with the 49ers back in ‘17, they jumped out to a 17-0 HT lead in the eventual 33-10 victory (PHI on 6-2 SU/ATS series run). While SF is just 7-17-1 ATS as a HF including a surprising outright upset by ARZ in the opener, we’ve yet to see a solid outing from the Eagles in 2020. Call the office on Sunday after 11am EST for tonight’s Marquee Winner!Atlanta at GREEN BAY - MNF - Following another big night by QB Rodgers LW in the Superdome (Marquee Winner over the Saints!) where he threw for 283 yds and 3 more TD’s (9-0 ratio this ssn!), the Packers return to empty Lambeau to take on a Falcons squad that blew a 2nd consec big lead LW at home against the Bears (ATL 26-10 lead after 3Q, CHI 20-0 run in 4Q). In their late ssn matchup back in ‘18, the Packers (-4) claimed a 34-20 victory despite a 344-300 yd deficit. While ATL has covered 8 of their L/12 coming in, the Packers (19-8 ATS run) should be going all out in this one with a bye on the horizon. Remember on Monday Nights you can get a $back+ guarantee! KEY SELECTIONS4H CHICAGO over Indianapolis - Rematch of Super Bowl XLI (‘06 ssn), a contest that saw Peyton Manning claim his 1st Championship. The Colts had no problem a wk ago in their matchup against the Jets as their defense forced a pair of pick-6’s in the 29 pt win (NYJ just 260 ttl yds). CHI meanwhile became the latest tm to deliver a huge comeback against ATL behind QB Foles who threw for 3 TD’s in relief of Trubisky. In their last meeting back in ‘16, the Colts (-4’) claimed a 29-23 victory despite 25-20 FD and 522-396 yd edges for CHI. While IND has posted a 14-6-1 ATS run against NFC foes, we like the Bears and their solid defense here against a turnover-happy Philip Rivers who has 32 int’s/fumbles since the start of LY. FORECAST: CHICAGO by 73H New England (+) over KANSAS CITY - The NFL didn’t give KC any favors early on as far as the schedule is concerned as they return home on short rest (MNF vs BAL) to take on their 3rd playoff team of a year ago in a 4-week span. The Patriots meanwhile are a goaline stop short of being 3-0 on the ssn as they rebounded from a narrow loss in SEA with a 16 pt victory over the Raiders for a Winner in our September 4H Game of the Month (NE 250 rush yds)! In the Chiefs’ late ssn trip to Foxboro LY, their defense held the Patriots to just 16 pts and 278 yds in the 23-16 victory (+3). While KC is on a 7-1 ATS run as of presstime, the Patriots could keep this one extremely tight with a 7-3 ATS mark when listed as an AD. FORECAST: KANSAS CITY by 1

OTHER SELECTIONS2H MIAMI (+) over Seattle - Outstanding start to 2020 for SEA who knocked off the Cowboys LW at home behind another huge outing from QB Wilson (315 pass yds & 5 TD’s). MIA meanwhile returns to action with extra rest following a solid road win last Thur in JAX where QB Fitzpatrick hit on 18-20 passes and 3 ttl TD (only HG in a 3-wk span for MIA). These 2 last met in the ‘16 opener with the Dolphins (+10’) falling just short in a 12-10 defeat (MIA had won and covered 4 of the previous 5 coming in). While SEA had an outstanding Wk 1 road performance on the East Coast against ATL, we expect MIA (potential heat and humidity edge along with 10am PST kickoff) to keep this one tight as they’re 12-5-1 ATS as a NDIV HD. FORECAST: Seattle by 1

OTHER PLAYSDenver at NY JETS - Thursday - Battle of winless squads to start Wk 4 as the Broncos head East following an 18 pt loss against the Bucs where we picked up a 3H LP Winner on the Under 42.5 (DEN 0-3 in B2B ssns for 1st time in franchise history!). The Jets meanwhile had no answer for the Colts as they had just 15 FD’s and 260 yds in a 29 pt defeat. In their last meeting back in ‘18, the Jets ended a 3-game SU/ATS losing skid against the Broncos by putting up a season-best 512 yds in a 34-16 victory. While DEN is on a 10-5 ATS run overall, the Jets have posted an impressive 11-5-2 ATS mark when listed as a HD. We’ll have one of our Marquee selections available after Noon EST on gameday.New Orleans by 7 over DETROIT - Following an 11 gm losing skid that dates back to the midway point of LY, the Lions picked up a 26-23 upset of the Cardinals LW in the desert (GW 39-yd FG as time expired, DET +3 TO’s). The Saints head back on the road for the 2nd time in 3 weeks following a shootout defeat at home against the Packers. These 2 last met back in ‘17 with the Saints (-4’) benefitting from 5 Lions TO’s in the 52-38 victory (ended DET’s 3-gm series win streak). Although the Lions have the ability to go all out in this matchup with an early bye week on deck, the Saints are of a loss, have covered 12 of their L/16 as an AF and clearly look like the stronger team here. Arizona by 1 over CAROLINA - The Cardinals had issues LW in the desert against the Lions in a 3 pt defeat as they finished with a 3-0 TO deficit (ARZ 377-322 yd edge). The Panthers on the other hand picked up their 1st win of the ssn despite being without the services of RB McCaffrey as their defense forced 4 TO’s by the Chargers in the 5 pt win (LAC 26-14 FD & 436-302 yd edges). In LY’s matchup, the Panthers (+2) went into Glendale and finished with a 413-248 yd edge in the 38-20 victory (CAR 9-3 SU/7-3-2 ATS series run). While the Panthers have failed to cover 9 of their L/11 coming in, leaning too much in the favor of a Cardinals team that hasn’t been road chalk since 2017 could be dangerous.Jacksonville by 1 over CINCINNATI - The Jaguars head North with some extra rest following an 18 pt Thur night home defeat against the Dolphins. The Bengals meanwhile came out of PHI with a 23-23 tie with QB Burrow throwing for 312 yds and 2 TD’s. In the Jaguars’ trip to CIN a season ago, they finished with a solid 460-291 yd edge in a 27-17 victory (-4’). With JAX still covering 4 of their L/6 coming in and the Bengals dropping both contests SU/ATS LY as chalk, a mild upset could be on the horizon.DALLAS by 8 over Cleveland - The Browns are off to a 2-1 start following a pair of home victories against the Bengals and Washington (over .500 for 1st time since ’14, 5-0 TO edge vs WAS). The Cowboys on the other hand return home after a 7 pt loss to the Seahawks in the Pacific NW where they had a 511-412 yd edge (DAL 3-1 TO deficit). In their most recent meeting back in ‘16, the Cowboys (-7) finished with 29-13 FD and 423-222 yd edges in an easy 35-10 victory (DAL 4-0 SU/3-1 ATS since ‘04 w/a 13 pt avg MOV). Although the Cowboys have failed to cover 10 of their L/12 when listed as a NDIV HF, backing the inconsistent Browns away from home is too risky for us (CLE 6-15 ATS vs NFC foes).HOUSTON by 3 over Minnesota - Following a rough 0-2 start to the 2020 campaign that saw them outscored 71-45 against the Packers and Colts, the Vikings blew an 8 pt HT lead LW at home against the Titans in a 31-30 defeat (3H LP Winner and 2H Newsletter Winner on MIN +3). HOU meanwhile remains in search of their 1st victory in what is arguably the toughest schedule to begin the season in NFL history with losses to KC, BAL and LW against the Steelers (PIT 25-13 FD and 387-260 yd edges). The Texans have yet to post a victory in this series as the Vikings own a 4-0 SU/ATS edge that includes a 31-13 home victory (-6’) back in ‘16. While we do expect to change here, laying more than a FG is risky considering that the Vikings are 18-8 ATS in meetings with the AFC.TAMPA BAY by 4 over La Chargers - Following a 5 pt home loss to the previously winless CAR where they had substantial FD (26-14) and yard edges (436-302), rookie QB Herbert (35-49-330-1-1 LW) heads to Tampa for his 1st career road start to take on a Bucs squad that picked up their 2nd consec win and cover LW against the Broncos (1st win in DEN since 1993). The Chargers and Bucs last faced off back in ‘16, a contest that saw the Chargers (-3’) fall 28-21 (series tied 2-2 dating back to ‘04). Although the Chargers have failed to cover 14 of their previous 19 coming in, laying too many points with the Bucs is risky considering that they’re just 5-16-1 ATS as a HF.TENNESSEE by 3 over Pittsburgh - Don’t look now but the Titans have continued their winning ways from the end of LY (trip to AFC Championship) following a 3rd consec win LW on the road against the Vikings where they nailed the GW 55-yd FG w/1:44 left (RB Henry 119 rush yds & 2 TD’s). The Steelers are also sitting at 3-0 after knocking off the Texans LW at home (PIT 25-13 FD & 387-260 yd edges). In their last matchup back in ‘17, the Steelers put up 40 pts in a 23 pt victory (Roethlisberger 299 yds & 4 TD). With neither team faring well as far as the spread is concerned with a combined 3-9 ATS mark dating back to Wk 15 of a ssn ago, we’ll give the home team a 3 pt edge in this one.
