PROJECT T ITLE: ACCOUNTANTS ASSEMBLE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The NCR Cup Quizzes 1 & 2 is a whole day quiz bee that would test the knowledge of the participants, as well as the members, in Practical Accounting I and Theory of Accounts by answering the questions set by the National Capital Region Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants.

Page 2: NCR CUP 1&2 Bidding Proposal

It is an academic event participated by different representatives of local chapters within the region for free and it is just the first two levels of the whole project.

OBJECTIVES

This year’s NCR Cup Quizzes 1 & 2 aims:

• To test the ability of the students and to get accustomed in answering questions and solving problems quickly.

• To help the students master the subject matter and to serve as a preparation for the board examinations.

• To measure the students’ capability regarding the subject matter to be able to assess themselves and improve later on.

• To develop a sense of comradeship with all the local chapters and share a common goal as future CPAs.

THEME DESCRIPTION

Accountants Assemble is inspired by one of the blockbuster films of 2012, The Avengers. The film became very popular because of the collaboration of renowned superheroes from different movies like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Incredible Hulk and more. Albeit their diverse personalities and powers, they were able to unite and share a common goal.

Like the NCR Cup Quizzes, various talented and intelligent JPIANs from schools all over the region will come to take part in this event by nurturing their potentials and sharing a common goal which is to avenge their schools and compete fairly to represent NCR-JPIA in the higher levels of the Cup. This is all about bringing the values and learnings from their schools and using it to compete as one. After all, we all want to be CPAs in the near future and we are all part of one team: NCR-JPIA.
