Year : 2013-14

Ganga Mahila SHG of Ingalagondi Village, Byadagi Taluk having

10 Backward Classes women members and they approached the

Corporation for dairy activities. The Corporation has sanctioned Rs.

2,50,000 to the SHG and each women purchased one cross bread cow

during 2013-14 under the above scheme. The women are supplying

milk to the dairy and they have improved their economic condition.

They are repaying the loan of the Corporation regularly.

Smt. Gowramma Mallashetty obtained loan under New Swarnima

Scheme through Eshwari Mahila SHG. She is selling masala items in

villages in small quantity She has improved her business activity and

she is now capable to educate her children.

Ambika Puttappa Chakrasali, Hamsabhavi Village, Hirekerur

Taluk obtained loan under NBCFDC Mahila Samrudhi to Start DTP

Center. Now she is earning Rs. 1000 to Rs. 1200/- per day and she has

provided job for one unemployed youth. After starting DTP center she

is leading a good and decent life and her family financial position has

improved considerably.

Amount : Rs. 3,75,000/-

Year : 2013-14.

The members of Bhagyalakshmi SHG have obtained loan under Mahila

Samruddhi of NBCFDC Scheme to start weaving unit. Before availing this

loan they were working as a daily wage employees in a loom. Now, they

started their own handloom weaving unit and each getting income of Rs.

6000 per month. They have good marketing facility as their unit is situated

near Belgaum district. Now they are economically improved and repaying Rs.

500 per month to the Corporation.

Year : 2013-14.

Mr. Gajanana Dattathreya Karoshi has approached D. Devaraj Urs

Backward Classes Corporation and obtained loan under NBCFDC Term Loan

to improve the general store. Now, he is earning Rs. 10,000/- income per

month. After meeting his family needs, he is repaying Rs. 750 per month to

the Corporation towards repayment of loan installment.

Amount : Rs. 33,250/-

Year : 2012-13.

Mr. Umesh Arun Rayabhagakar has availed NBCFDC Term Loan to start

Pan Shop near a hotel at Belgaum District. His net earnings per month is Rs.

6500/- and his economic condition has improved and he is self employed.

Now, he is repaying loan installments regularly.

Jayashree Umesh Kendoli has availed loan under NBCFDC Mahila

Samrudhi for manufacturing and sale of broom stick. She engaged her family

members for manufacturing and sale of broom stick. She improved the

business by supplying the broomstick in bulk to whole sale shops. There is a

good demand for the product is Gadag district and she is getting good

income.

Amount : Rs. 19,000/-

Year : 2013-14

Sri Ravi Krishna Bhandari has obtained loan of Rs 19,000/- from the

Corporation under NBCFDC Term Loan Service Sector. He has started Two

Wheeler Bike Repair Shop in a Hobli centre near Kumta taluk. Earlier there

was no two wheelers repair shop at Igalakurve and the people were going for

repairs to Kumta taluk. Ravi Krishna Bhandari is earning Rs 800 to Rs. 1000

per day and improved his living condition.

Mr. Ganapathi Shettigar has taken loan under NBCFDC Service Sector

amounting to Rs 19000/- to start tailoring shop. He engaged one assistant at

his shop. After obtaining loan, he has improved his business and now

earning Rs. 900 to Rs. 1000 per day. Out of this amount he is paying loan

installments regularly and his economic condition has improved.

2013-14 to start tailoring shop. After obtaining loan she has started

cloth business along with tailoring and doing good business and she is

earning Rs. 600 to Rs. 650 per day. It is a supplementary income to her

family. She is paying loan installment regularly.

Loan (Sevavalaya) to start dhobi shop. Now he has hired RCC Room on

rental basis for his business. Now his economic position has improved. He

is repaying loan installments regularly.

under Agriculture Sector and she has purchased buffaloe. Now she is

supplying 10 litres of Milk to Dairy/Hotel every day and earning Rs.

250 per day. After meeting expenditure towards fodder, she is saving

about Rs. 125 per day. It is a supplementary income to her family. She

is repaying the loan installments regularly.
