    The Naxer Tech Limited warrants to the purchaser that this product, under normal use and conditions, will be free from defects in materials and

    workmanshipfor aperiodof12 months fromthe dateoforiginalpurchase. Ifaproductprovesdefectiveduringthiswarrantyperiod,NTL,at its option

    eitherwillrepairthe defectiveproductwithoutchargefor partsand labor,or willprovideanexchangefor the defectiveproduct.

    In order to obtain service under this warranty, the purchaser must notify NTL of the defect before the expiration of the warranty period and make

    suitable arrangements for the performance of service. The purchaser shall be responsible for appropriate packaging and shipping with a carrie

    designatedbyNTL,withshippingchargespaidbyrecipient(NTL).

    This warranty shall not apply to any defect, failure or damage caused by improper use or improper or inadequate maintenance and care, alterations

    mishandling or accidents. NTL shall not be obligated to furnish service under this warranty to costs incurred for installation, to correction of antenna

    problems, removal or reinstallation or to damage to video tapes, discs, speakers, accessories or vehicle electrical system. The extend of NTLs liability

    underthiswarrantyis limitedtothe repairor replacementprovidedaboveand, innoevent,shallthe companys liabilityexceedthe purchasepricepaid

    for thisproduct.

    PreparationsInordertoinstallthe NTT101 VehicleTrackingUnitproperly,the followingpreparationsshouldbecarriedout:

    Makesurethatnoiteminthe packagecontentsismissedbeforeyou installthe GPS vehicleterminal. Prepareone operationalGSM SIM card.Makesurethatthe SIM cardcan operatewithoutPIN protectionand has GPRSwithunrestricted

    Internetaccessenabled(askyourGSM operatorfor GPRSdialuprequirements).Emptythe SMS storageofthe SIM cardusingoperationalGSM

    phone.

    Testthe basicvehiclesituation(suchaslight,brake,ignition,antitheftdeviceand all wiresrelatedtoGPS installation.)beforeyou installthe GPS

    vehicle

    terminal.

    InstallationofSIMcardandBackupBattery:1. Openthe batterycoveronthe bottomsideofthe deviceand removethe battery.2. Insertthe SIM cardintothe SIM holderinthe directionasshowninpicture.

    3. Placethe batteryinthe compartmentand connectit tothe batterycableand replacethe batterycover.

    Note: Donotuse the backupbatterybeforeinstallationorinthe situationthatthe terminalisnotused.Pleaseinsertthe SIM cardfirstthen

    InstallationThe TrackingUnitcan operateonboth12V,24V and 36V withnegativeearth(Negativetobody).

    Beforestartinginstallation,disconnectthe vehiclebatteryand observeothermanufacturerssafetyinstructionsregardingalarmsystems,airbagsor antitheftradiocoding.

    Ifyou wanttoinstallthe TrackingUnitinthe passengercompartment,makesurethatall antennacablesand wiring isprotectedfromsharpedgesand isroutedinsuchamannerthatitwillnot bepinched.

    The devicecomeswithGPS &GSM externalantennas.NotethatGPS externalantennashouldbefacingtosky.GPS willnot lockifGPS antennais

    placed

    beneath

    metal

    or

    metallic

    glass

    coatings.

    The SOS buttonshouldbeinstalledataplaceonthe dashboard.Itshouldbehiddenbut easilyaccessedinemergencycases.It shouldbe placedseparatefromdashboardcontrolsand car audiodevices.

    The installationpositionshouldbeprotectedfromwater. The jointsshouldbebundledwithinsulationtapetoavoidcrushand shortcircuit. Donot connectthe sparebatterytothe TrackingUnitbeforeyou havecompletedall electricalwiringand connectionstothe device. Donot mountthe TrackingUnitorexternalGSM antennainclosetosoundsystem.

    NOTE: Inputpowermustbeat aminimumof8V&mustnot exceed37V.Directconnectionwithvehiclesfusebox ispreferred.NTT101 has builtin

    fusefor upto30V inputvoltageprotection. Mainpowersourceaswellasbackupbattery,bothmustbeconnectedtoproperlyinitializethe TrackingUnit. Powersourcemustnotbeexceeding30Vandgroundcablemustbeproperlyconnectedwithbodyearth. Cableconnector(14 pin)shouldbefirmlyconnectedintothe TrackingUnitinthe rightdirectionasshowninthe picture. Pleasenotethatinstallationmethodsmayvarybetweenvehiclemodels.Forexpertwiringandconnectingpleasecontactaprofessionalcar

    electronicsworkshopforinstallationsupportandmaintenance. Chooseaproperpositiontoinstallthe terminal. Removethe componentsofvehiclecorrectlyduringinstallation. Layandbundlethe vehiclecablesasthe originaldirection. Protectthe jointswithinsulatingtape.(withstands600v)

    GettingStartedAfterapplyingthe wireharnesstothe VehicleTrackingUnit,the devicewillpowerupand automaticallyattempttoregistertoGSM network.Provided

    thatyourvehicleand the devicesexternalGPS antennaispositionedinalocationwithclearunobstructedviewofthe sky,the devicewillthenstart

    VehicleTracking:Fromthe ControlBasesoftware,overInternetfromthe TrackingWebsiteor GPRSenabledcellphones,you willabletoreceiveupdatedGPS locationsany

    tracking

    history,

    event

    and

    communication

    reports.

    Fromthe ControlBaseor Website,you willabletosetupTrackingschedulesand viewrealtimemovementfor unlimitedtime,inintervalsstartingfrom10

    The GPS odometerfunctioncan beconfiguredtosendtravelleddistancefor eachtrip(timefromignitionontoignitionoff)ortotaldistancetravelled.

    IfnosufficientGSM signalispresent,the devicecan storeupto1000positionsand statusalertsuntilGSM/GPRScoverageisavailable.All storeddatawil

    bereportedassoonasthe deviceisbackonline.

    You willalsobe abletoconfigurepowersavingmodesaccordingtoignitionofftime,ornocommunicationornomovementisdetected.

    Tips&Warnings:

    ApplyMinimumdistancecommandtopreventthedevicefromdrainingthebatterywhenthevehicleisn'trunning.Ifyouareparkingthevehicleformorethantwoweekitishighlyrecommendedtoapplypowersavingcommands/minimumdistancecommand.

    Makesureyourwiringconnectionsaresecure.Thebesttypeofconnectionsisthecrimpontype.Theyaretypicallycalled"buttconnectors"andrequireaspecialtooltomaketheconnectionproperlycalleda"crimpingtool".
