 Model Year 2000 Engine Identification and Features

Model Year 2000 Engines are identified by serial number 1194039 and above. Engine model code prefix 470refers to the Model Year 2000 DT 466E. The prefix code 531 refers to the Model Year 2000 International®530E. These engines represent product enhancements which have yielded a more robust engine withimproved performance and durability.

Significant product features contributing to improved performance and durability would include improvedbreathing and cooling, valve event enhancements, heavy duty rocker arm and shaft assembly, high efficiencyoil pumps, and increased crankcase and crankshaft stiffness. Additionally, the Model Year 2000 DT 466E andInternational® 530E now share a common bore providing increased component commonality and decreasedproduct servicing complexity.

The MT-512B Engine Parts Catalog has been revised and will be released in May with Revision 83 ofAccesSystem®. The catalog provides detailed and current service parts information for the Model Year 2000engine release. A recently published Service Manual for the Model Year 2000 DT 466E and International®530E can be obtained by ordering Service Manual Form EGES-210.
