Unnoticed by the vast population of upstairs, Perry Tsai has been working with the Local Splash family since February 2013. Prior to his in-office establishment, Perry had been a Local Splash contractor since 2011, working remotely from his Florida home. His quality work and drive granted him a full-time spot with the company. Aching for spontaneity and feeling liberated in his mid-20s, Perry accepted it. He packed a suitcase, his ner- vous anticipation and audacity, and ventured out into the golden state of California, being blessed with immaculate weather and Alberto’s savory carne asada fries. Now, Perry runs the Enterprise Account Provisioning department as Provisioning Team Lead, maintaining and improving the struc- ture and processes, working with team members to monitor productivity and then some. Long before Perry even knew what SEO was, the Taipei-born, University of South Florida grad- uate proudly stocked ice cream and Lean Cuisines in the frozen aisles at Publix. While one thing lead to another, Perry found himself completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Man- agement Systems Engineering. To translate, Perry simplifies his Engineering degree to “efficiency and time management.” Perry continually sought comfort in the discomfort such as working under pressure and tight deadlines, multi-tasking nu- merous Enterprise projects and planning ahead. However, Perry does not excel in these areas dur- ing online-computer gaming. He is often left per- plexed as to where time goes when he is cradled in his Diablo-gaming mindset. On a lighter note, as Enterprise Account’s Provisioning Lead, he is able to use what he learned at USF and resourcefully apply it to Local Splash. The Tokyo Drift Sung Kang doppelganger be- lieves he has achieved personal and professional growth with the company. In the beginning, Perry was quiet and wanted to be left alone to work dili- gently while listening to music. However, over- time, Perry exposed himself to more peer inter- action [and dogs], coincidentally morphing his one-man band into friendships with others and timeless office pranks. Perry has also gained a better understanding and knowledge of SEO and explored the levels of resource management as well as supervision skills. Consequently, Tsai has been reimbursed with several gray hairs and acne that arrogantly brags off hard work. Beyond his frozen aisle chronicles and Enter- prise Account duties, you will find Perry dancing from one meeting to another or quietly at war with an excel sheet, nestled in his cubicle. Al- though how delighted he is to have moved his life 2,000 miles out west, he did mention how much he misses the peaceful Florida rain, while Califor- nia is in its worst drought. BE THE VOICE TO A BRIGHT FUTURETo keep with our quality assurance initiatives, we also implemented a quality control process to help ensure the best possible client experience from start to finish. This process is divided into four steps. First is defining telecommunications policies and procedures. Next is discovery including an audit and scorecard reporting of calls for sales, provisioning, customer service, and client retention. Third comes evaluation and risk assessment, which involve reviewing calls for application of policy, adherence to pro-cedures, courteousness, and skill. Finally, based on the audits and evaluations, the quality control team will correct and coach agents with any actions that need to be taken.
