Navigate Uncertainty and Ensure Resilience
Much has been said about the coronavirus pandemic. While all may suffer from
the “swift and massive shock of the coronavirus pandemic and shutdown
measures,” some will suffer less and others more. Nobody can really say with
certainty what the future will be.
Crises or not, the search for doing things better is a continuing pursuit and the
finance leaders are at the center of the storm - navigating their businesses
through a global pandemic while reflecting on the fundamentals of their
profession, their leadership role, and their influence on societal change.
Organized by CFO Vietnam with the support of International Association Of
Financial Executives Institute (IAFEI) and the Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants (ACCA) UK, the Annual Vietnam CFO Forum | IAFEI Asian Day is the
premier platform for the exchange of innovative ideas, intelligence and partnership
opportunities. Adopting the theme of “Enhancing Business Resilience with a
Proactive Plan” to focus on collaboration, and building ideas for the rapidly
changing future and acquire best practices and solutions to drive business

Corporate governance quality improvement is an imperative task for most of
Vietnamese enterprises in order to enhance their competitiveness,
especially in the increasingly economic integration of the country. As a
response, Vietnam Association of Corporate Directors (VACD), has
established Vietnam Chief Financial Officers Association (CFO Vietnam) in an
effort to promote financial and corporate governance.
CFO Vietnam is to promote the sharing of local and international
experiences, skills, knowledge and information in the area of corporate
finance governance. This aims at “Advancing the capability of Vietnam’s
CFOs to international level”, progressively building up a force of highly
professional CFOs and financial executives in order to make business
administration and management of Vietnam enterprises more efficient and

ABOUT CFO VIETNAM
A worldwide professional association of national financial executives institutes
established in 1969.
A private non-profit and non-political association organized under the Swiss
Civil Code and legally and domiciled in Switzerland. Its founding members
include financial executives institutes of Argentina, Australia, Belgium, France,
Germany, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Philippines, Spain, United Kingdom of Great
Britain and the combined Institutes of USA and Canada.
Collectively, the institutional members of IAFEI represent more than 20,000
finance executives thus making it the global premier society of finance
