BlazerBlazerBlazerBlazerAdieu, stern office outfit! The new blazers are true mix-and-match artists! The only issue with blazers this season is that we want to have them all. Sporty models are the next big thing: the label Mat has put kick-back into the woman's sports jacket by adding a hood, and Manon Baptiste has gone for casually rolled sleeves.

The classics are being reinterpreted. Worn over sporty shirts, they result in cunning inconsistencies in style. Elena Miro blesses the sophisticated indoor version with ele-gant lining and, if the precious piece should wander out of doors, then it's all about wool.

There are as many ways to wear it as there are designs; it goes with anything your wardrobe can throw at it!

SHOP CARO EMERALD'S STYLE NOW

Caroline Esmeralda van der Leeuw – her real name is just as elegant as the glamo-rous music made by the thirty-year-old jazz singer from Amsterdam.

She has already taken the charts by storm with her retro songs, and similar to her mu-sical inspiration, her fashion is also sparked by the 40s and 50s. As a Grace Kelly fan, Caro Emerald adores the curvaceous silhou-ettes from just that time period: feminine skirts and dresses define her outfits, resul-ting in the perfect harmony of classic and glam.

Are you singing along with Caro's style? Here's the trick: combine vintage garments with modern pieces. And of course, remem-ber to polish the look with a sultry red pout!

Skirts should lay flat across the belly. Tight pencil skirts provide support and shape; flowing, narrow A-line skirts cover up the area. For dresses, empire designs are perfect for you, and also the beloved wrap front directs glances to your décolleté and creates a lovely waist.

MORE TIPS ON THE NEXT PAGE!

CUTSCUTS

Avoid elaborately draped fabric in the belly area and choose pieces with vertical seams instead – they make for a slimmer-looking figure. Empire cuts and high waists are particularly flattering for your silhouette. A true miracle worker: wear a shaping bodysuit under dresses.

COATS&JACKETS

A trench coat is an absolute must in your wardrobe. Its narrow shoulders and highly tailored, flared cut is ideal for creating a slim-mer figure. For jackets and blazers, opt for single breasted, slightly tailored models that narrow at the hip. These figure-flatterers look especially good on you.

Always choose high-waisted trousers. The added support helps to hide the belly and creates a lovely silhouette. Pleats are also ideal for loosening up the tummy area of your trousers. Go for a narrow-cut leg to make your legs look longer. It is better to avoid showing the waistband and instead let loose sweaters or blouses dance around the area.

TROUSERS

A round belly disappears instantly when you wear blouses that flare lightly from below the bust. Tunics are also always a fantastic choice. Get bonus points for your outfit by choosing a fantastic neckline which will make sure that all the attention is on a different area than your middle!

Helga shared her experience with plus sizes with us:

"After delightfully discovering navabi two weeks ago, reading the magazine last night after my second order was the icing on the cake. The fantastic web design, the topics and the encouragement

given to women with figures beyond the mainstream has been overdue for decades.

For 40 years, I struggled with the quest for suitable clothing and had to deal with sacks and the fee-ling of not being quite right - both in the eyes and comments of some boutique personnel, and also in pieces not meant for my figure. At that point in time, unfortunately no one had come up with the idea of creating collections for people beyond the norm. You had to adapt, try out ineffective diets,

and just felt bad when, yet again, the cut of your new favourite dress did not allow you to move without it cutting in, or making that awful sound - you know what I mean.

How thrilled I am that the world of fashion has evolved since then!"
