Short description of the company:Dresser-Rand AS is a Norwegian

projecting, manufacturing andproviding maintenance of gas turbines
and gas turbine driven compressor sets and generatorsets, in a

has delivered installations to customers in over 60
countries. We are situated in Kongsberg, a beautiful countryside
close to both mountain andcoast, and only one hour drive from the
capital, Oslo.
Main responsibilities/ tasks:Execute Quality control of
purchase, construction, production control and testing
Representing D-R in client projects concerning quality related
issues
Establish Inspection & Test Plan and Quality Plan for client
projects
Perform control at subsuppliers premises that they have
understood and do followQualityspesific requirements/standards and
that they do have systems as described in NS-EN-ISO 9000
Plan/accomplish/report and follow up external quality audits
towards suppliers
Monitor deliveries of products and evaluate prospective
rejections in the casesdiscrepansies are discovered in the
receiving control dept. at D-R or buildingsiteactivities orduring
inspection at supplier
Actively participating during "Mechanical Completion" and
publication of "ManufacturingRecord Book" during hand over of a
installation to the customer
Has the authorety to release a intallation for disassembly after
test or contrary
Qualifications /requirements/ required profile:2-3 years
technical school or engineering college
5-10 years relevant experience
Fluent in English, written and oral. Knowledge of German and
French is desireable
Good computer skills
