Feel good events

French Mountaineering Championship - Saturday, January 18

This individual alpine skiing event, a flagship race in the sport, takes place in the heart ofthe exceptional scenery on the slopes of La Saulire, the highest ski summit in Courchevel.Physical strength is required on the way up as well as on the way down when you ski here!

Plum Moontain Races, February 10 and March 9

Join a ski mountaineering trek to the lofty Loze Pass by the light of a full moon. Afterindulging in a delicious meal at the high-altitude restaurant Le 1928, descend the mountainby torchlight. It’s certainly a high-octane moment, but it’s open to all and it really is anunforgettable experience.

From the Belvédère de Courchevel Moriond, there are many opportunities for nature loversto enjoy the tranquil and magnificent landscapes. Choose from:

A circuit of Rosière Lake on foot or with snowshoes allows you to explore thiswonderfully wild location. In the heart of a forest, the shores of the lake aredominated by the majestic Dent du Villard. Treat yourself with a gourmet break atthe chalet-style snack bar by the lake - it’s like a fairytale setting come to life…Cross-country skiers can enjoy a (free) route alternating between woodland andsunny pastures, while those on foot can follow a beautiful walking trail through theforest and alongside the marvellous chalets of the Belvédère.Fans of ski-touring aren’t left out: the marked, natural route ‘La Trace’ takes you tothe top of the Signal for majestic views over the Vallée des Avals which will take yourbreath-away…

This year sees the introduction of athrilling adventure for children (valid for 7-15 year olds) as they follow in the tracksof Jack London (author of Call of theWild): Courchevel Adventure offers thechance to become an apprentice musher.After first being shown how to handle thesleds and introduced to the dogs, they willbe able to take the reins themselves fortheir exciting ride.
