Bring a plant to school day!
• During our topic we had to bring a plant to school and we were looking at the different names of them.This is a pepper plant
Brick investigation!
• We put bricks out in the secret garden to see what minibeasts we could find.
Parts of a plant….
• The parts of a plant are…• Flower: The flower makes seeds for the plant.• Stem: The stem supports the plant it contains
thin tubes for carrying food, minerals, and water!• Leaves: Leaves make food for the plant.They
take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen into the air.
• Roots: The roots soak up water and minerals they also store food for the plant.

Yes you can!!
Growing grass on a brick is so easy!!!!!
All you have to do is put grass seeds on the brick and put water under it! Its so easy!!

• We kept a venus fly trap in our class!
• We decided a name for it…
• The winning name was Snappy!!!
How to plant a sunflower
• 1.First we got a plastic cup.
• 2.Next we filled it up with soil.
• 3.After that we got a sunflower seed and looked at it carefully.
• 4.Then we put the sunflower seed in the soil.
• 5.Last we watered the plant and it grew and grew...
Bankhead country garden.
• We learned a new song called bankhead country garden during our topic!!!
• The song mensions flowers minibeasts and birds!
• We practiced and practiced until we got good at it.

• We all played a game called Super bugs.
• Super bugs is a game where you create your own bug and give it a name!

• Moths have hairy bodies to keep them warm.
• They are attracted to light!
• They use the moon to help them navigate.
• There are over 24,000 different species in Britain.

• Pond skaters live 1-2 years.
• It can stand, walk run on water.
• It is also called a Gerridae.
• They eat small insects.
• They are widespread and common in Britain and Europe.
