New factory - EcoparqueInaugurated in the first quarter of 2014, the Ecoparque inBenevides (Pará) is an industrial park aimed at attractingdiverse partners who share Natura’s values and a commonobjective: driving sustainable businesses in the Amazonbased on social biodiversity, leveraging the demand for forestinputs and promoting local entrepreneurship.The Ecoparque operations start with the Naturamanufacturing plant, which will have 240 direct employees,with 100% of the operational team and 70% of theadministrative team drawn from the local population.The first partner, Symrise, an international manufacturerof fragrances and raw materials, will initiate activities in2014.
