John O’Groats is famous for its position at the most north easterly point of Britain. Situated in a truly breath-taking location, Natural Retreats John O’Groats boasts fantastic unspoilt scenery and dramatic landscapes, with the awe-inspiring Stacks of Duncansby on the doorstep. The area is also home to an array of wildlife, from a vast range of bird life including Kittiwakes and famously, Puffins, to marine mammals such as seals, dolphins, minke and killer whales.

You can enjoy some of Scotland’s finest scenery from your Natural Retreats accommodation, which offers two main styles of residences. The Inn at John O’Groats was formerly the iconic John O’Groats hotel, originally built in 1875. The Inn offers bespoke 1, 2 and 4 bedroom self-catering apartments each with its own character. All feature modern kitchen/living areas, stylish bedrooms and

bathrooms and a variety of windows providing guests with vantage points to enjoy far-reaching sea-views across the Pentland Firth onto Stroma and the Orkneys, and west-facing rooms are treated to spectacular sunset views.

Natural Retreats John O’Groats also boasts luxurious three-bedroom lodge-style residences, again with stunning views, and underpinned by strong sustainable principles with the use of locally sourced materials such as Caithness stone, Scottish Larch timber and sedum roofs. The lodges are pet friendly, so man’s best friend can come along too.

Situated in a stunning location, Natural Retreats West Highlands offers two beautiful cottages, both boasting stunning and uninterrupted views. The area of Tulloch itself is the perfect base for a Scottish Highland holiday with excellent hill walking, transport

links and nearby restaurants serving Scottish food. Tulloch is close to all the great Highland landmarks including Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis, Glen Coe, The Great Glen, Loch Ness, the Cairngorms and Glen Roy Nature Reserve and is a mecca for hill walkers of all abilities.

Natural Retreats CairnGorm Mountain is the most popular snowsports destination in Scotland, located within the Cairngorms National Park, and has been offering snowsports for over 50 years. We have two different styles of accommodation within the Estate, the first of which are our two and three bedroom lodges. These are just a short walk from the main hotel building and

offer spacious open plan living. We also have some quaint mews houses that are situated right next door to the hotel, these are slightly smaller than the lodges as they are a traditional stable-style property.
