They specialized in salmon and other types of fishing. Most men did not wear any clothing at all, but some wore a breechcloth. Women wore short skirts made of cedar bark. In colder weather, both wore long tunics and cloaks made of shredded cedar bark with moccasins. They lived in rectangular, cedar-plank houses with bark roofs. Their houses were large enough to hold up to 50 people.
