Training Materials Update Status
• Existing lesson objectives will remain the same
• Updating case studies and statistics
• Addressing commonly heard comments
– Better acknowledge and incorporate rural TIM
examples
– Refocus Train-the-Trainer materials to better address
how to successfully deliver the TIM training
• Establishment of Statewide multi-discipline TIM Committee that
meets regularly, sets goals and is committed to the expansion and
institutionalization of TIM
• Establish TIM web page with tabs for resources, training success
stories etc.
• Maintains communications with trainers and recognizes their
accomplishments
• Work with LTAP and/or MPO to strengthen TIM program
• Strengthen regional partnerships, engage responder/safety
associations (IACP, IAFC, NHTSA, GHSA etc.) and make the case
for integrating TIM performance measures; the proof of TIM benefits
is through data
•
Key Best Practices
Provides an understanding of whether or not training participants have implemented the TIM procedures and strategies provided in the training
