GOALS FOR 2014

LETTER FROM THE COUNCIL Over the last few months the National Parliamentarians Council

has been working hard to increase awareness about parliamen-

tary procedure. Check out our plans for the year!

We look forward to increasing awareness about our current re-

sources such as our FBLA Parliamentarians group on Facebook,

our Parliamentary Procedure resource kit, and this newsletter.

Along with that we also hope to introduce new resources to our

members such as new parliamentary guides, and online videos.

Teaching our members about Parliamentary procedure early is

crucial, this is why we also plan on reaching out to our Middle-

level chapters by creating guides and videos aimed towards this

level. Being able to spread our resources to local and state parlia-

mentarians is important to us.

The National Parliamentarians Council also plans to connect

members of the Nationals Association of Parliamentarians (NAP)

to build a stronger connection.

The National Parliamentarians council has great things in store for

this year, so stay tuned!

1. Promote the widespread use of Parliamentary Proce-

dure

2. Further communication between State Parliamentari-

ans and the board

3. Address confusing topics and publish resources to fix

these issues

4. Explain the benefits of Parliamentary Procedure

5. Establish connections with other State Officers in order

to check for understanding of our resources

6. Supply teaching tools to distribute to State Officers

7. Promote our Facebook page

8. Host a workshop at NLC on Parliamentary Procedure

9. Work as a close knit group with constant communica-

tion via Google Hangouts
