CLASS SPOTLIGHT: Shane Scott’s Parody Writing Class took the students on a tour of great parody writing from Weird Al Yankovic to FRED and beyond, complete with examples and how-tos. It was followed by his class Make ‘Em Laugh that helped break down the essential elements of comedy, proving unequivocally that there’s nothing funnier than explaining a joke.

QUARTET SPOTLIGHT: Sweet Lucy, one of the amazing quartets scheduled for the Saturday Night Show, had a busy morning appearing on Today Nashville helping promote barbershop, HU, and the show on Saturday. Excellent job, ladies!
