In too many cases they are simply “working groups” that share ideas and resources, cover each other when they are out of the office, but still maintain their individual clientele. This model has all of the headaches and challenges that come with aligning, commu- nicating and managing a team, with virtually none of the leverage and synergy that can make the team so much more productive than their sole practitioner brethren.
