educator, consultant, actor and writer

was the speaker at the 2016 luncheon.

She has worked alongside David

Duchovny, John Travolta and Johnny

Depp, among others. Her true-life story

about accepting and living with a

psychiatric disorder, tours

internationally. She is incredibly

enlightening and a charismatic keynote

speaker. The Pilot Club of Naples is

proud to be a sponsor of NAMI and

attend the luncheon each year.

The Pilot Clubs of the Florida District and the Pilot Club of Naples support three Scholarship Houses. Below are the young men living in our Williams

Scholarship House. Pilot members have raised the $111,000 to adopt this

scholarship house. The rededication is planned for January 30th.

The Pilot Club of Naples will receive

recognition in the form of a name plate

on a room for the donation to the Pilot

Scholarship House Foundation in honor

of Hazel Jaklitch. Hazel has contributed

to the PSHF for many years. In 2016,

Hazel will mark her 40th

year as a Pilot.

Plan a trip to Gainesville for this special

event with Hazel.

Giving to Pilot International’s

Founders Fund helps to support the

ABC initiatives of Pilot: Anchors –

Youth Leadership Development; Brain

Safety & Fitness and Caring for

Families in need.

Goals and Grants for Pilot Club projects

and scholarships are funded with PIFF.

2016 District Convention will be held

April 1 – 3 at the Lake Mary Marriott.

PI Florida District Convention location

is the Marriott Orlando - Lake Mary in

April. There will be the installation of

new officers for the Florida District.

Business will be conducted and

educational breakout sessions will be

offered, as well as voting on important

issues by delegates from each club.

More information will be coming in

future issues of our newsletter and the

Florida District WAVE.
