CHANGES TO PROJECT MANUAL

1. Page 111-5, Bid Form – The Bid Form has been revised and is reissued (in Excel).

2. Specification P-101 – Add the following paragraphs:

101-4.8 UTILITY CUT. The unit of measurement for utility cut shall be per square yard (SY). Utility cut shall include removal of pavement, base, and subgrade material sufficient to construct utilities, including but not limited to trench drains, and trench drain outfall pipes to their points of connection to discharge structures. Sides of utility cuts shall be clean, neat, as uniformly vertical as possible, and as per the dimensions where shown on the Drawing Details.

101-4.9 SELECT ASPHALT REMOVAL. The unit of measurement for select asphalt removal is per square yard (SY). This item is separate from item 101-4.1, and it shall consist of the removal of asphalt pavement in areas subject to the requirements of Specification Section 210 – Reworking Lime Rock Base. The asphalt shall be sufficiently removed by milling, or other means, so as to not contaminate the lime rock base being reworked.

And add the following Pay Item:

Item P-101-9 Select Asphalt Removal -- per Square Yard (SY)

Specification P-101 is not reissued with this Addendum.

3. Specification 210 – Add the following sentence to the end of Paragraph 210-4.1:

For Measurement and Payment of select asphalt removal in areas of reworking lime rock base, see Specification Section P-101.

CHANGES TO DRAWINGS 1. Sheet G001 – The Cover Sheet Revision Block has been edited for Addendum No. 2.

PROPOSAL

AVCON, INC. 111 - 2 JULY 2020 ADDENDUM NO. 1 – JULY 24, 2020

NAPLES AIRPORT NORTH GA RAMP REHABILITATION

It is understood that this proposal is submitted for the purpose of obtaining the work included in subject project at the Naples Airport, Naples, Florida. Said work includes the following primary items.

NORTH GA RAMP REHABILITATION Plan Sheets G001 thru C905 1 to and including 59,, inclusive

The bidder’s attention is called to the fact that the estimate of quantities of work to be done and materials to be furnished under these Specifications, as shown on the proposal form is approximate and is given only as a basis of calculation upon which the award of the contract is to be made. The OWNER reserves the right to increase or diminish any or all of the above mentioned quantities of work or to omit any of them as it may deem necessary. The Contractor further agrees to accept the “Unit Bid” Prices in compensation for any additions or deductions caused by variation in quantities due to more accurate measurement, or by any changes or alterations in the plans or specifications of the work. Payment will be made by OWNER for actual quantities.

The OWNER reserves the right to award any, all, or none of the alternate or additive alternate bid items.

The bidder agrees that this proposal will remain valid and in full force and effect for a minimum

period of 60 (sixty) 180 days (one hundred eighty) following the official bid opening date.

The bidder agrees that within fifteen (15) days of receipt of written notice of any award of the contract that he will execute the contract contained in the Proposal, in accordance with the bids as accepted, and will furnish the required performance bond, payment bond and insurance affidavits with good and sufficient surety or sureties, as required by the specifications.

The bidder further agrees that if awarded the contract, he will commence the work within ten (10) days of the date of receipt of a “Notice to Proceed”, provide that plant and equipment as set forth in the Plant and Equipment Schedule, and that he will fully complete the work ready for use within the 188 calendar days as follows, after the date of receipt of a “Notice to Proceed.”
