Namo Brigade A Brief Introduction

Disclaimers1. We are group of volunteers who want to see Narendra Modi as the next PM
2. Our group’s sole focus is on 2014 – parliamentary elections
3. Our volunteers include people from aspects of society and primarily consists of • IT Professionals,• College students,• Young entrepreneurs and self employed
4. We are not part of any existing socio-political organizations
5. We have not received any funding from any political organizations by direct or indirect means
6. All Namo Brigade activities have been conducted by self funding. Each chapter raises the required funds from its volunteers for each event
7. Namo Brigade is a registered society and all activities conducted by us are strictly conducted within Legal and Regulatory requirements

History of Namo Brigade Humble Beginnings
•Started with a small group of volunteers
•Volunteers in the beginning were from Bangalore and Mangalore only
•Started with Namo Brigade Facebook Page
•Designed and conceptualized Namo Merchandise
History of Namo Brigade Launch – 14th July 2013
•Officially launched on 14th July 2013 in Rashtrothana, Jayanagar
•Attended by more than 500 volunteers
•Namo Brigade website was launched which registered more than 7,000 volunteers
•Namo Brigade missed call service started which registered more than 3 Lakh + calls
•Namo Brigade merchandise was also released – including T-shirts, Labels, Badges, etc

•Namo Brigade launch inspired others to start their own chapters
•Namo Brigade chapters first started in Mudhol and Jamakhandi
•Today Namo Brigade chapter are present in more than 141 assembly constituencies in Karnataka
•First chapter outside Karnataka was launched in Mumbai
•Namo Brigade chapters have organized blood camps, bike rally, awareness drives, voter id drives, etc
Namo Brigade ChapterState level workshop
•Namo Brigade had first state level workshop on October 27th 2013
•State level workshop attended by 400 Namo brigade chapter coordinators
•State level workshop had presence from 70 Namo Brigade chapters from 26 Constituencies
•Volunteers were trained in how to spread Narendra Modi’s message across Karnataka
•Also Volunteers were trained in registering voters, getting voter ID cards, etc

Namo village awareness program involves Namo Brigade volunteers travelling to villages in their vicinity every weekend with a projector and screen and screening videos regarding Modi and his achievements as Gujarat CM creating awareness even among remote villages

Blood Donation camps are ideal events to attract general public for a good cause while at the same time spread awareness about Modi

College Awareness
drivesCollege Awareness drives are programs to create awareness among first time voters about the importance of voting and register them
Voter ID campaign to assist general public in obtaining voter IDs and inclusion in electoral rolls to have greater participation in elections

Auto Rally
Bike Rallies are cost effective programmes to spread awareness and create curiosity about Modi among general population
Auto Rallies are similar to Bike rallies, but the additional aim is to make Auto drivers brand ambassadors to spread our message across

Special Programs include events conducted during Modi visits and other unique events conducted by his supporters. The above picture on the right illustrates 200 supporters dressed as Modi while the bottom right one depicts a supporter riding bike blindfolded

Nothing can beat the effectiveness of old style door to door campaigning and Namo Brigade volunteers are actively pursuing the same
Namo Tea is a unique program where tea is distributed freely to passengers at railway stations to spread the message of Modi’s humble background

Silent CampaignSilent Campaigns are regularly conducted at crowded places like Malls, Stations, etc regularly on weekends. The most talked about is the one at Wankhede stadium on Sachin’s last match
Of course, Namo Brigade also regularly utilizes the traditional boarding's and hoardings to spread our message

Namo Suno is a caller tune which when activated allows listeners to hear about Modi and his development agenda
Namo Radio is a planned dedicated radio station to spread Modi’s message across
These are Andriod applications which users can simply download

Modi and his development agenda has been developed into an attractive story to spread the message

Namo Merchandise
Namo Merchandise include T-shirts, Badges, Mugs, Chocolate boxes, Umbrellas, etc. These are sold at cost basis and their primary aim is to increase visibility and create a sense of ownership among our supporters while spreading awareness at the same time.
