A region of interest (often abbreviated ROI), are samples within a data set identified for a particular purpose. The concept of a ROI iscommonly used in many application areas. For example, in medical imaging, the boundaries of a tumor may be defined on an image orin a volume, for the purpose of measuring its size. The endocardial border may be defined on an image, perhaps during different phasesof the cardiac cycle, for example, end-systole and end-diastole, for the purpose of assessing cardiac Area of Interest or fields ofinterests are an important part of the organization of a CV. Here you list what you are studying, or what of all you have studied is yourpreference. Areas of interest are your specialties or concentration of what you're in process of becoming expert. They're usually alsoyour competencies, or the areas in which you are ready to teach (or preparing to teach). There's no absolute format for a CV, butsome institutions will make your job a lot easier by just suggesting what they expect to see. Normally it will include the following: Yourname, address (contact info), your education and dissertation(s); awards you may have received, fellowships in progress or completed.
