The Region 51 (East Texas)' 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committeewill hold six (6) planning meetings in 2006.1he meetings, each of which will start at 9:30 A.M.,will be held at Texa. Department of Public Safety, 12230 Wcst Road, Houston, Texas 77065.The purpose of these meetings is to continue the allocation planning process of the 700 MHzspectrum for public safety in Region 51. The meeting dates are:
Tuesday, April 4, 2006Wednesday, May 24, 2006Wednesday, July 19,2006Wednesday, August 30, 2006Wednesday, October, 18,2006Wednesday, December 6,2006
All Region 51 (East Texas) 700 MHz Public Safety Planning Committee meetings areopen to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole purpose or principal purpose isto protect the safety of life, health, or propetty in Region 51 would utilize these frequencies. It isessential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and nongovernmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission's Rules berepresented in order to ensure that each agency's future spectrum needs are considered in theallocation process. Administrators who are not conversant with telecommunications technologyshould ensure that their respective agencies are represented by suitably conversant staff.
All interested parties wishing to participate in the planning for the use of new publicsafety spectrum in the 700 MHz band are encouraged to attend. For futther infonnation ahout themeeting, please contact:

The Region 51 (East Texas)' 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committeewill bold six (6) planning meetings in 2006. The meetings, each of wbieb will start 819:30 A.M.,will be held at Texas Department of Public Safety, 12230 West Road, Houston, Texas 77065.The purpose of these meetings is to continue the allocation planning process of the 700 MHzspectrum for public safety in Region 51. The meeting dates are:

All Region 51 (East Texas) 700 MHz Public Safety Planning Committee meetings areopen to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole purpose or principal purpose isto protect the safety of life, health, or properly in Region 51 would utilize these frequencies. It isessential that not only public safety, but all govermnent, Native American Tribal, and nongovernmental organizations eligible wtder Section 90.523 of the Commission's Rules berepresented in order to ensure that each agency's future spectrum needs are considered in theaHocation process. Administrators who are not conversant with telecommunications technologyshould ensure that their respective agencies are represented by suitably conversant staff.
All interested parties wishing 10 participate in the planning for the use of new puhliesafety spectrum in the 700 Mllz band are encouraged to attend. For further infonnation about themeeting, please contact:
