2015 SIDEWALK SALES AND RAFFLE PROMOTION
As you may know, the White Plains Business Improvement District
(BID) hosts Sidewalk Sales throughout the yearto help give more
visibility to your store by showcasing your products and services.
Many of the Sidewalk Sales takeplace on event days to capitalize on
the extra foot traffic in the area. The BID encourages you to take
advantage of thisprogram to reach new customers from all over the
county and beyond. There is no cost to participate. The BID
willobtain permits for you free of charge. However, we must have a
registration form on file for your business.
To participate in the Sidewalk Sales, please complete the

To further promote your business in 2015, the BID is offering a
raffle prize to consumers shopping at merchants thatparticipate in
Sidewalk Sales. To help your customers enter to win, simply initial
their raffle ticket upon their visit toyour Sidewalk Sale or store
on any day. Raffles will take place on July 1 and November 2, 2015.
An example of theraffle ticket is below for your reference. Please
be sure to educate your staff on this small responsibility as well
toensure the success of this promotional opportunity. This raffle
will further incentivize patronage to your business.Once again, at
no cost to you!

The participant shall save, keep, indemnify and hold harmless
the White Plains DowntownDistrict Management Association, and the
City of White Plains, and their respectiveofficers, officials,
employees, servants, agents and volunteers from and against all
liability,injury, loss or damage, costs or expenses in law or in
equity that may at any time arisedirectly or indirectly by reason
of or in the course of the event which may or may not beoccasioned
by any willful or negligent act or omission of the participants,
any of theparticipant's employees or volunteers or any
subcontractor. The foregoing provisions shallnot be constructed to
cause the participant to indemnify the White Plains
DowntownDistrict Management Association, or the City of White
Plains from its negligence.
