1. Nominations for the awards may originate from individual and institution. Applicants can apply for more than one award.

2. Submission Deadlines: 24 May 2020

3. Awards & Eligibility:

❏Best Scientist Award The Best Scientist Award gives recognition to scientists who have made outstanding contributions to research & development resulting in significant new technology or innovative use of established technology. Eligibility: Scientist with no less than TEN years of R&D experience may be nominated for this award.

Number of Awards: One at State Level + one each of certificate of- Honorable Mention, Special Mention, excellence, Appreciation & Official spotlight will be given.

❏Young Scientist Awards The Young Scientist Awards recognize young scientist who are actively engaged in R&D, and who have shown great potential to be world-class scientist in their fields of expertise. Eligibility: Scientist with less than Ten years of R&D experience may be nominated for this award.


❏Best Researcher Award

This award is presented in the recognition of outstanding contributions in research leading to the discovery of new knowledge or the pioneering development of scientific or engineering techniques and methods.

Eligibility: Professional/Academicians with no less than TEN years of experience may be nominated for this award.

The ‘Young Faculty Award’ recognizes outstanding contributions made by faculty at relatively early stages in their careers that may include: contribution & achievements in teaching, research & other activities.

Eligibility: Full time faculty with the rank of full professors, associate professors, and assistant professors with less than ten years of teaching experience at UG/PG level may be nominated for these awards.


❏Special Achievement Award

The ‘Special Achievement Award’ is to recognize the contribution of professionals, scientist or academicians in science & technology development. Eligibility: Professionals/Scientist/Academicians with no less than FIVE years of experience may be nominated for this award.


❏International Achievement Award

The objective of the Award for International Achievement is to recognize an individual for sustained interest and involvement in international activities that bring recognition and contribute to the mission of the institution in the international arena. Eligibility: Full time faculty with the rank of full professors, associate professors, and Assistant professors with no less than TWO years of teaching experience at UG/PG level may be nominated for these awards. 6. Result of the awards will be declared on 28 May 2020 and award ceremony will take place in Bangalore on 07 June 2020. The result of award will be displayed on the www.educationexpo.tv & same shall be communicated to the participants via email.

7. The winners shall be honored with award certificate & trophies. The certificate of

Honorable Mention, Special Mention, excellence, Appreciation & Official spotlight will be given to deserving participants while other participants will receive certificate of participation.

8. Science & Technology Awards-20 does not take any type financial commitment for

the expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding (TLB) and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself for attending ceremony. No request for the same will be entertained by any means. Nominal hospitality charges are applicable for attending the award ceremony at Bangalore.

9. COVID-19 Notice: The submission deadlines and result date will remain the same. The ceremony date is subject to government regulations on COVID-19.

10. The certificates and winner’s trophies shall be send via courier incase of lockdown

due to COVID-19 or if you are not able to attend the event. 11. The evaluation of the entries is undertaken by RwePie, EET CRS & STA-20 jointly. The

decision of RwePie, EET CRS & STA-20 will be final and can’t be challenged.

12. Once the entry submitted can’t be withdrawn in any circumstances, however STA-20 director reserve the rights to disqualify any entry on certain grounds.
