Realize

Start by logging in to your account on RealizeTM. On the home page, you can access everything you need to go digital—your program resources, classroom management tools, and data-tracking features. You’ll even see a personal library. Your students will see similar menus where they can access their program materials, view their assignments, and check their grades.

Table of Contents

So how do we get going? On the home page click Programs and then select your grade level. The table of contents will appear with tons of resources ranging from the program units and assessments to the Small Group Guide. Lots to explore! Now look to the right. You’ll definitely want to remember the Teacher Resources. I use the online Teacher’s Edition all the time so I don’t have to take my book home with me. The Student Interactive and standards correlations are also right here. Now, let’s take a peek at some of my favorite resources on the table of contents.

Unit Tabs

Now, let’s look at the unit tabs. Each tab includes all of the unit-level resources including the Leveled Readers, Unit Introduction, weekly lessons, and test. All at your fingertips! Expand the Teacher Resources drop-down menu on the right to get even more tools to support your lessons.

Okay, I’m going to leave you with one last cool feature that’s located in your print Teacher’s Edition. You’ve probably noticed these icons. They’ll show you when a digital resource is available on Realize. Be on the lookout for these icons as you teach and plan so you can easily incorporate these engaging digital resources into your lessons.
