Who is the course aimed at? The course is aimed at Junior Doctors who might be interested in, or curious about, Plastic Surgery but have had little or no experience in the field. What does the course include? 2 days of intensive hands-on practical sessions covering: Skin closure Skin grafting Excision of skin lesions/lumps Skin flaps Non-operative wound management Tendon repair Hand fracture fixation Nerve repair Microsurgery (loupes provided) Complemented by short lectures covering the breadth and depth of Plastic Surgery. Faculty The course is delivered by Plastic Surgery Consultants and Registrars. High faculty to delegate ratio (1:3) Course dinner Of course the evening dinner is an essential part of the course with all being encouraged to attend.
