I. Hello Mycenaeans!
• Originally from Central Asia (Russia).• Invade Greek mainland around 2000
B.C.E.• First Greek Kings• Conquer the majority of the
Peloponnesian Peninsula with lots of grasslands.

• Palaces built on a hilltops and surrounded by a huge walls to protect them
• They gained land through the favor of the king (having the king like them)

trade with Minoans when the Minoans began to visit from Crete.
• Copied Minoan design for ships, swords, shields, and culture (example – Mother Earth)!
• Learn to navigate using the sun and stars.
