A world cycle.There are four kinds of kappa;saṁvaṭṭa

The knowledge that one only has volitional action, Kamma, as one’s own possession and that there is no other possession, is Kammassakathᾱñᾱṇa.

Asking forgiveness, paying homage.The Buddha taught that a person, who commits an offence against someone, either bodily or verbally, should beg his pardon or make obeisance to alleviate the offence.

Decay; old age.Decrepitude, failing vitality, decay of the sense‐faculties are the signs of ageing.Ageing is dukkha.

BIRTH Aတတကသလက Aကသလကတ႔ေၾကာင ပဋသေႏၶေနျခငး ျဖစ၏။

The coming into existence of physical and mental phenomena, the conception, the arising in new form, the appearance of the aggregates (khandha).Birth arises due to past action (kamma).

Jivitindriya ဇ၀တေႁႏၵ၊ Aတျဖစဖက ႐ပနာမတရားက Aသကရညၾကာ တညတေAာင ေစာငေ႐ာကရာ၌ Aစးတရရေသာတရား။

FACULTY OF VITALITY

ဇ၀တေႁႏၵသည ႐ပဇ၀တေႁႏၵ၊ နာမဇ၀တေႁႏၵဟ၌ ၂-မးရသည။

Those mental and physical phenomenon that keep the co‐arising mental and physical phenomena functioning (i.e. keeping them alive) are called Faculty of Vitality.

MENTAL ABSORPTION

Absorptive concentrationAbsorption is the ability of the mind to be concentrated on a single mental or physical object. Hindrances and other demeritorious actions are destroyed though mental absorption.

Factors which give rise to mental absorption.There are five constituents of mental absorption;(1) initial application of the mind, vitakka;2) sustained application of the mind, vicᾱra;(3) pῑti;(4) bliss, suka;(5)ekaggatᾱ.

Hankering after.There are three kinds of craving: ‐(1), kᾱma taṇhᾱ;(2), bhava taṇhᾱ; and(3) vibhava taṇhᾱ.

WAYFARER ျမတစြာဘရားရငသည ဤAမညျဖင ဘရားရငတ႕က ညႊနးရညေျပာဆေလရသည။

One who has walked the Path of Reality as did the formers Buddhas.It is a term which the Buddha used to refer to all Buddhas.

Three pitakas; (lit.) three baskets.The three pitakas are the Vinaya Pitaka, the Suttanta Pitaka and the Abhidhamma Pitaka.

BEARER OF THE SCRIPTURES

Giving away as a gift or donation is dᾱna. If one gives with a firm belief in kamma and its results, and if one does so with keenness and a feeling of joy at the time of giving and also before and after, that gift is indeed a great gift

FACULTY OF MASCULINITY

There are two kinds of honouring: honouring by offering material gift and honouring by doing good practice or service.

ၿပတာဘ၀မာ Aတတကသလက ႏပစကမႈေၾကာင Aၿမဆာေလာင မြတသပေနၾကရသည။ စားေသာကဖြယ ေတြ႕ရပါလက မစားႏင မေသာကႏင ျဖစရသည။ ၿပတာဘသည Aပါယေလးဘတြင ပါ၀ငသည။

A peta’s existence is one constantly tormented by hunger and thirst due to his demeritorious actions in the past. A peta is unable to take food or drink even when either is available. Peta realm is included in the four miserable existences, apᾱya.

Coarse language; vulgarities,Harsh words which parents might use sometimes to admonish their children do not count as harsh speech as no bad intent is involved. Only when there is bad intention behind the harsh words can it be called harsh speech

Future Buddha; one destined to become a BuddhaThere are three types of Bodhisatta;.(1) pannadhikabodhisatta; (2) saddhᾱdhikabodhisatta; (3) vῑriyᾱdhikabodhisatta.

Byᾱpᾱda သတစပါးက ပကစးေစလမႈ။

ILL WILL သတစပါးက ေသေစလ ပကစးေစလေသာ စတAႀကသည (ဗာပါဒ) မေနာက ျဖစသည။

The evil desire to kill or destroy others is a mental action, manokamma, (of ill will, byᾱpᾱda).

LOSS ထပကစးျခငး ၅-ပါးရသည -(၁) ဉာတဗသန (၂) ေဘာဂဗသန (၃) ေရာဂဗသန (၄) ဒ႒ဗသန (၅) သလဗသန

Ruination; (1) loss of relatives, ñᾱti byasana;(2) loss of wealth, bhoga byasana;(3) deterioration of health due to illness, roga byasana;(4) dissolution of right view, diṭṭhi byasana;(5) dissolution of morality, silabyasana.

Brahma ျဗဟၼာ၊ ျဗဟၼာ၀ဟာရ တရားေလးပါးက Aၿမပြားမားေနသ။

SUPREME CELESTIAL BEING

သမထကမၼဠာနးက Aားထတ၍ စာနရရေသာ ပဂၢလမားသည ျဗဟၼာဘသ႕ လားၾကသည။ ၄ငးပဂၢလမားက ျဗဟၼာဟေခၚသည။

One who dwells in the four noble Abidings ,Those who engage in meditation for tranquillity and attain jhanas pass away to the realms of Brahmas. They are called Brahmas.

The five aggregate (khandha) are in reality what constitute a burden. The bearer of the burden is no one but the person or being himself in question, for the five aggregates which embody existence in effect makes him the barer of the burden

One practicing Insight meditation does not yearn for the past nor long for the future but contemplates only the reality of the present. Such a person is called bhaddekaratta.

The dhamma which eliminates the defilements with Nibbᾱna as its object.The four maggas are:(1) sotᾱpatti magga,(2) sakᾱdᾱgami magga,(3) anᾱgᾱmi magga, and(4) arahatta magga.

FOOD OFFERINGS ON THE SEVENTH DAY AFTER THE DEMISE OF A PERSON

တစစတစUး ေသလြန၍ ခႏစရကေျမာကေသာေန႕တြင ဗဒၶဘာသာ၀ငတ႔သည ေသဆးသAားရညစး၍ သာဓေခၚႏငေစရန သဃာေတာတ႔Aား ဆြမးကပ၍ Aမေ၀ၾကသည။

Buddhists have a custom of making food offerings to the Saṁgha on the seventh day of the demise of a person in the hope that the departed one might gladly approve of the good deed saying, “Good! Good!”

FACULTY OF MIND

Demise; dissolution; expiration.There are four kinds of death:(1) ᾱyukkhaya maraṇa;(2) kammakkhaya maraṇa;(3) ubhayakkhaya maraṇa; and (4) upacchedaka maraṇa.

Mahᾱsayana ျမတေသာေနရာ။ LUXURIOUS SEATS AND BEDS

လ, ေမြ႕ယာ, သားေမြးေကာေဇာ စေသာ AဆငAတနးျမငေသာ Aေကာငးစား ေနရာမားက မဟာသယနဟ ေခၚသည။Uပသသလ ေဆာကတညထားသသည ဤျမငေသာေနရာ, ျမတေသာေနရာမားတြင မA ပေကာငး၊ မထငေကာငးပါ။

Seats or beds stuffed with cotton, wool or down or laid with fur, mattresses, carpets and similar luxurious appointments are called luxurious seats and beds.One who is observing the uposaṭha precepts is not supposed to use such seats or beds.

မဟာသယန

Manasikᾱra ႏလးသြငးမႈ။ ATTENTION ႏလးသြငးေကာငးေသာသAား ကသလတရား ျဖစပြား၏။

Advertence, considerationIn one who has proper consideration merit arises.

Stinginess is reluctance to share what one has with others.Stinginess is a mental concomitant. There are five kinds of stinginess

MIDDLE WAY, THE

AလယလမးAကငသည Aစြနးႏစဖကမ လြတေျမာကေသာAကငျဖစၿပး ဆငးရခပၿငမးရာ နဗၺာနသ႔ ပ႔ေဆာငႏငေသာ Aကငျဖစ၏။မဂၢင ရစပါး ပါ၀င၏။

The Ariya Path of Eight Constituents;It is the Middle Way alone, steering clear of the two extremes, that can lead to Nibbᾱna, the end of dukkha.

Maladharana ပနးပနျခငး။ WEARRING FLOWERS

Uပသေစာငခန၌ ပနးပြင ပနးခင ပနးကးမားက ပနဆငျခငး သတပါးAား Aပနခငးျခငးမား မျပရ၊ ျပလင သလပကသည။

While keeping the Uposatha precepts one must not wear flowers or garlands nor must one ask others to do so. One’s observance of the precept is impaired by such an action.

မာလာဓာရဏ

Mudita သတစပါးေကာငးစားျခငး၌ ၀မးေျမာကျခငး။

SYMPATHETIC JOY

မဒတာသည ျဗဟၼ၀ဟာရ တရားေလးပါးတြင တစပါးAပါA၀ငျဖစသည။

Sympathetic joy, Mudita, is one of the four Noble Abidings.

Attachment is of three kinds:

(1) attachment to existence in the sensuous sphere;(2) attachment to existence in the Fine‐material sphere and(3) attachment to existence in the Non‐material sphere.

CORPOREALITY

႐ပသည - ဘတ႐ပ၊ Uပါဒါ႐ပဟ၍ ၂-မးရ၏။ Materiality; physical phenomenon; matter.Corporeality is subject to change. There are two kinds of corporeality:(1) the four Primary Elements, bhῡtarῡpa; and(2) dependent corporeality, upᾱdᾱ rῡpa.

FACULTY OF PHYSICAL LIFE

The faculty of physical life arises together, at the moment of conception, with the corporeality caused by past action. It sustains the corporeality to the fully lifespan and perishes together with it.

Mark; sign.The three characteristics inherent in a sentient being are;(1) impermanence, anicca;(2) suffering or unsatisfactoriness, dukkha; and(3) the uncontrollable and non‐self nature, anatta.

Loka ျဖစျခငး၊ ပကျခငးသေဘာရေသာ သတ၀ါ၊ ေတာေတာင၊ ေရ၊ ေျမ၊ စသညAားလး။

WORLD (၁) ျပျပငစရငတတေသာ ရပတရား၊ နာမတရားတ႕၏ AေပါငးAစျဖစေသာ သခၤ ါရေလာက၊(၂) လ၊ နတ၊ ျဗဟၼာ စေသာ သကရသတ၀ါတ႕၏ AေပါငးAစျဖစေသာ သတေလာက၊(၃) သတ၀ါတ႕တညေနရာ ဘဌာနျဖစေသာ ၾသကာသ ေလာက

Things that transcend the world .The nine factors, namely, the four Paths, the four Fruitions and Nibban transcend the mundane and are therefore known as the Supramundane, lokuttara Dhamma.

There are four social classes,

ရတနာျမတသးပါးတ႔Aား ရခးျခငးAမႈက ျပၾကရာ၌ ရခးျခငး (၃)မး ရသည။

Paying obeisance.There are three modes of paying homage to the Three Gems (i.e, Buddha, Dhamma and Saṁgha):

DEFICIENCY ၀ပတ (၄)ပါး -(၁) မငးဆး မငးယတ A ပစးေသာ ကာလ၌ျဖစျခငး၊(၂) Aပါယေလးပါး၌ ျဖစရျခငး၊(၃) ႐ပဆငးAဂၤါ ခ႕တျခငး၊(၄) AသAလမၼာ ဉာဏပညာႏင သတ ၀ရယ မရျခငး။

(1) living during the time of bad rulers;(2) being reborn in four miserable existences;(3) having physical deformities and disfigurements; and(4) being deficient in intelligence, knowledge, mindfulness and diligence.

INSIGHT ခႏၶာငါးပါး၌ ႐ပနာမတ႔ မၿမျခငးသေဘာ, ဆငးရျခငးသေဘာႏင Aစးမရ Aတမရျခငးသေဘာတ႔က ဉာဏျဖင Aဖနဖန ႐ႈပြားျခငးသည ၀ပနာ႐ႈသည မည၏။

UNCERTAINTY ျမတစြာဘရားရငသည Aမနစငစစ ဘရားဟတမဟတ၊ တရားေတာသည Aမနတရားစငစစ ဟတမဟတ၊ သဃာေတာမားသည Aရယာမား ဟတမဟတက ယမားသသယ ရျခငးသည ၀စကစၧာမည၏။ ေသာတာပနျဖစလင ၀စကစၧာမ လြနေျမာကသည။

Doubt.Being skeptical and uncertain as to whether the Buddha is really enlightened, whether the Dhamma is really the Truth, and whether the Samgha are really ariyas. One overcomes vicikiccha on becoming a sotapanna.

Viññaṇa သမႈသေဘာ၊ သစတ။ CONSCIOUSNESS

Aာ႐ ၆-ပါးႏင Aၾကည၀တ႐ပ ၆-ပါးတ႔ ေတြ႕ဆထေတြ႕ေသာAခါ သမႈသေဘာ သစတ ျဖစေပၚလာ၏။

Consciousness arises when the six sense objects come into contact with the respective sense‐bases.

Looking at things which are like spikes .Seeing shows, etc, which are contrary to the Buddha’s teaching.

PASSING ONE’S TIME

ေနထငျခငး ၄-မးရ၏ -(၁) ဒဗၺဟာရ - စာန၀ငစား၍ေနျခငး၊(၂) ျဗဟၼ၀ဟာရ - ေမတာစာနစသညက ၀ငစား၍ေနျခငး၊(၃) Aရယ၀ဟာရ - ဖလသမာပတ ၀ငစား၍ေနျခငး၊(၄) Iရယာ၀ဟာရ - ေလာငးထငရပသြား Iရယာပတေလးပါးတြင တစပါးပါးျဖငေနျခငး။

There are four ways of passing one’s time :‐(1) (Dibba Vihᾱra)(2) (Brahma Vihᾱra);(3) passing one’s time in Fruition absorption (Ariya Vihᾱra); and(4) (Iriyᾱpatha Vihᾱra).

ရစပါးသလစေသာ Uပသသတငးေစာငသသည Aေမႊးနသာ လမးကျခယလယျခငးမ ေရာငၾကညရသည။

One keeping the eight precepts is to avoid use of perfumes.

Feeling .There are three kinds of sensation. It may be pleasant, or unpleasant or neither‐pleasant nor unpleasant, depending on the nature of sensation one senses or feels.

SERVICE လႀကးသမမားႏင မဘဆရာသမားမား၏ Aမႈကစၥမား၌ လညးေကာငး၊ ကသလေရး ကစၥမား၌ လညးေကာငး ပါ၀ငေဆာငရြကျခငးသည Aလြနမြနျမတေသာ ေ၀ယာ၀စၥ Aလပျဖစသည။

Participating in meritorious actions . Fulfilling one’s duty towards elders, parents and teachers and participating in performing acts of merit are, indeed, noble services.

Vera ရန၊ ရနသ။ DANGER ယငးရနသမးငါးပါးမာ -(၁) ေရ (၂) မး (၃) မငးဆး (၄) ခးသ (၅) Aေမြခ သားဆး သမးဆး - တ႔ျဖစသည။

Enemy.Every Buddhist, while paying homage to the Buddha, prays to be free from the following five kinds of danger :(1) floods, (2) conflagrations, (3) tyrants (4) thieves and robbers, and (5) bad sons and daughters who are unworthy heirs.

Sakadᾱgᾱmῑ သကဒါဂါမပဂၢလ။ ONCE‐RETURNER

သမထ ၀ပနာပြားရာတြင သကဒါဂါမမဂသ႔ ဆကေရာကဆ ပဂၢလက သကဒါဂါမမဂပဂၢလ - ဟ ေခၚသည။ ထမဂစတ ခပၿငမးသြားသညႏင တၿပငနက သကဒါဂါမဖလ ျဖစ၏။ ထပဂၢလက သကဒါဂါမဟ ေခၚဆ၏။

He who is on the verge of reaching the second stage of the Path while engaged in the Tranquility and Insight meditation is called one of Sakadᾱgᾱmῑ magga. As soon as his Path‐consciousness (magga‐citta) ceases, the Fruition of Sakadᾱgᾱmῑ arises.

BODILY ENTITY

သကာယ - ဟသည Uပါဒါနကၡႏၶာ ငါးပါးတညး The palpable physical and mental aggregates in a sentient being.Sakkaya means the five aggregates of Clinging.

Saṅkhata ျပျပငခရေသာ တရား။ CONDITIONED ခႏၶာငါးပါး ႐ပနာမတရားသညကား- က, စတ, Uတ, Aာဟာရ - တညးဟေသာ Aေၾကာငးတရားတ႕ေၾကာင ျပျပငခရေသာ တရားတ႔ ျဖစကန၏

Formed; compounded.The five aggregates, the complex of mind and matter, are conditioned by four factors; (1) volitional action, kamma; (2) mind, citta; (3) temperature, utu; and (4) nutriment, ahᾱra.

Altruism; benevolence.In relations between parents and children, between teacher and pupils, between friends and in human society, four kinds of assistance are essential for achieving unity, good will and peace.

ASSEVERATION TRUTH

မေထရႀကးက “ဤသ႔ေသာ သစၥာစကားေၾကာင ငါ၏ မယေတာႀကးAား ကနးမာျခငးသည ျဖစေစသတညး” ဟ သစၥာစကားဆ၏။

Declaration on oath.The Elder said, “By this asseveration (declaration) of truth, may my mother get well.”

Heedfulness; awareness;The Satipaṭṭhᾱna Sutta is a discourse on the methods of cultivating mindfulness. Sati is a term denoting mindfulness in respect of meritorious actions only.

Saddhᾱ သဒၶါတရား၊ ယၾကညမႈ၊ ၾကညၫမႈ။

CONVICTION ဘရားAေလာငးတ႔၏ သဒၶါတရား (Aာဂမသဒၶါ)၊ Aရယာပဂၢလ တ႔၌ ျဖစေသာ သဒၶါတရား (Aဓဂမသဒၶါ)၊ ရတနာျမတသးပါး၌ မတမလႈပသက၀ငယၾကညမႈ (ၾသကပၸနသဒၶါ)၊ ဘရား တရား သဃာ ရတနာသးပါးက ၾကညညမႈ (ပသာဒသဒၶါ) Aားျဖင ၄-မးရသည။

Confidence based on conviction.Four kinds of conviction are differentiated:(1) ᾱgamasaddhᾱ;(2) adhigamasaddhᾱ;(3) okappanasaddhᾱ; and(4) pasᾱdasaddhᾱ.

There are five aspects of charity performed by the virtuous.(1) saddhadᾱna;(2) sakkaccadᾱna;(3) kᾱladᾱna;(4) anaggahitadᾱna;(5) anupahaccadᾱana.

Full knowledge.Whatever one does should be done with mindfulness and comprehension.

Conditions for achieving one’s objective.(1) paṭirupadesavᾱsa;(2) sappurisupanissaya;(3) attasammᾱpaṇidhi;(4) pubbecakatapuññatᾱ.

TRANQUILITY ကေလသာန၀ရဏ တရားတ႕၏ ၿငမးေAးမႈ။ Calm; concentration; meditation for tranquillity; calm due to the destruction of defilements and hindrances

Sampadᾱ ျပညစျခငး၊ မကေမာကဘ၀၌ ခမးသာသခရေၾကာငးတရား။

Accomplishments.Conditions for happiness and well‐being, sukha, in the present life.

Right speech consists in refraining from the four kinds of evil speech.

Sammavayama သမၼာ၀ါယာမ RIGHT EFFORT မနကနေသာ Aားထနျခငးလ႕လ ၊ ေကာငးစြာAားထတမႈ။

Right endeavour.Right Effort consists in striving to discard whatever demerit that has accrued to oneself and to stave off whatever demerit that has not arisen in oneself

Sammaditthi မနကနေသာ Aျမင၊ မနကနေသာ Aယ၊ ေကာငးေသာ Aျမင၊ ေကာငးေသာAယ။

RIGHT VIEW က၊ က၏ Aကးက ယၾကညျခငး၊ သစၥာေလးပါးက သျမငျခငးသည သမၼာဒဠမည၏

Right understanding.Right view means a firm belief in kamma, i.e., ones actions an dthe result thereof. It also means comprehending the four Ariya Truths.

သမၼာဒဠ

Samᾱdhi တညၾကညမႈ၊ CONCERNTRATION

Aာ႐တစခတညး၌ စတတညေနမႈ။Aာ႐တစခတညး၌ တညေနမႈ၊ Eကဂၢတာက သမာဓ - ဟ ေခၚသည။

Fixity of mind.The one‐pointedness of mind on a single object, ekaggata, is called concentration.

Right Thinking means thinking about renouncing the world, and thoughts free from ill will and cruelty.

Sammasati မနကနေသာ ေAာကေမ Aမတရျခငး၊ ေကာငးစြာေAာကေမျခငး။

RIHGT MINDFULNESS

ကသလတရားတ႕၌ ေကာငးစြာေAာကေမ သတရျခငးသည သမၼာသတ မည၏။

Right Mindfulness means being never forgetful about doing good things that are meritorious.

Right concentration consists of concentration of one’s thought on a single object.

သစၥာေလးပါးက ေကာငးစြာကယတင သႏငျမငႏငေသာ Aရဟတမဂဉာဏ သဗၺညတဉာဏေတာ။

Arahatta Ñᾱṇa and Sabbaññuta Ñᾱṇa, which comprehend the four Ariya Truths.

Sammaajiva မနကနေသာ Aသကေမြးျခငး၊ ေကာငးစြာ Aသကေမြးျခငး။

RIGHT LIVELIHOOD

ကာယသစရကသးပါး ၃ပါး၊ ၀စဒစရက ၄ပါး တ႕ႏငကငးလြတ၍ မညသ႕ကမ ထခကနစနာေစမႈ မရေသာ Aသကေမြးမႈသည သမၼာAာဇ၀ မည၏။

Right livelihood means earning a living that in no way harms anybody, and in ways that are free from the three kinds of physical misdeed and the four kinds of evil speech.

Sarana ကးကြယAားထားရာ ရတနာသးပါး။

REFUGE ဆညးကပကးကြယသတ႕၏ ေဘးရန Aႏရယ Aမးမးပယေဖာကေပးတတ၍ ဘရား-တရား-သဃာ ရတနာ သးပါးက သရဏ ဟေခၚသည။

The Three Gems as Refuge.The Three Gems are called Refuge because they protect he one who takes refuge in them against all kinds of danger and misfortune.

BONE RELICS ျမတစြာဘရား ပရနဗၺာနစရာတြင ကယေတာမ ကြငးကနရစေသာ A႐းဓာတေတာမားက ေခၚသည။ ပမာဏAားျဖင မနညႇငးေစ႔တစျခမးAထ A႐ြယAစားAျပားျပားရသည။

The remains of the Buddha after his passing away and cremation.Bone relics consist of small pieces of bones ranging in size from a mustard seed to half a kidney bean as well as the seven larger imperishable pieces

FOOD OFFERING BY DRAWING LOTS

ဗဒၶဘာသာျမနမာလမးမားသည သဃာေတာမားAား သလာကဘတ (စာေရးတဆြမး)က ဆကကပလႉဒါနးေလ ရၾကသည။

Myanmar Buddhists often make offerings of food to the Saṁgha by drawing lots.

သတငးသးေဖာ ငါးUး ဆသညမာ - ဘကၡ၊ ဘကၡန၊ သကၡမာန၊ သာမေဏရ၊ သာမေဏရ - တ႔ ျဖစသည။

Companions in the practice of Dhamma.The five companions in the practice of dhamma are; (1) bhikkhus; (2) bhkkhunῑs; (3) probationary bhikkhunῑs; (4) male novices; and (5) female novices.

တပညသားသဃာမား ထးျခားစြာ စညစစညးမေသာ AစညးAေ၀း။

During the lifetime of the Buddha, a disciples’ convention took places at the Jetavana monastery in R¬ᾱjagaha for conferring the title of Chief Disciple on the Ven. Sᾱriputta and the Ven. Mahᾱmoggallᾱna.

The teachings of the Buddha are the legacy of the Buddha. Those who inherit them are the heirs to the Buddha’s Teaching.Bhikkhus and lay supporters who sponsor boys into novicehood and novices into bhikkhuhood are heirs to the Buddha’s Teaching.

SPEAKER OF GOOD WORDS

ဗဒၶဘရားရငသည သတစပါး မလလား မႏစသကေသာ စကားျဖစေသာလညး မနကန၍ Aကးရလင AခါAခြငက ဆငျခင၍ ေျပာၾကားေတာမသည။

The Buddha who speaks at opportune times speeches that were true and beneficial though others might not like them.

Taking intoxicants and narcotic drugs such as alcohol, hashish, cocaine, marijuana, heroin

Sekhiya ေသခယAကင၊ ရဟနးသာမေဏတ႔ ကငရမည Aကငမား။

MINOR PRECEPTS

ရဟနးသာမေဏတ႔ လကနာေစာငထနးရန ပညတထားေသာ Aကငမားက ေသခယAကငဟ ေခၚသည။Aားလးေပါငး (၇၅) ပါးရသည။

Minor precepts are those regulating the acts of bhikkhus and novices in their mode of dressing, going on alms‐round, taking meals, giving discourses, etc.

That mental phenomenon which has control over gladness is called Faculty of Gladness.

The continuous arising of existences.�The continuous arising of mind and matter, aggregates, is Samsara.

FETTER ကာမရာဂသေယာဇU စေသာAားျဖင သေယာဇU ၁၀-ပါး ရသည။

There are ten fetters such as sensual attachment.

သေယာဇန

Saṁyojanῑya သေယာဇUAာ႐။ OBJECT OF FETTERS

႐ပကၡႏၶာ ေ၀ဒနာကၡႏၶာ သညာကၡႏၶာ သခၤါရကၡႏၶာတ႔သည သေယာဇUAာ႐မား ျဖစၾကသည။ ခႏၶာငါးပါးAားလးက သေယာဇU Aာ႐ဟ ေခၚၾကသည။ Aာ႐တ႔၌ တပမကကပၿငျခငးက သေယာဇUဟ ေခၚသည။

Such things are rῡpakkhandhᾱ, vedanᾱkkhandhᾱ, saññᾱkkhandhᾱ, saṅkhᾱrakkhandhᾱ and viññᾱṇakkhandhᾱ. In fact, all five aggregates form as objects of fetters. Fetters mean attachment to objects.

There are Six kinds of expressing mirth .

Hetu AေၾကာငးAရငး၊ AေျခAျမစ၊ ဟတ။

ROOT CAUSE ဆငးရျခငးကျဖစေစေသာ AဓကAေၾကာငးAရငး သးရပမာ- ေလာဘ၊ ေဒါသ၊ ေမာဟ တ႕ျဖစသည။

Root condition.The three main causes of suffering are greed, hatred and bewilderment.

Immutable which is not conditioned by the four conditioning factors; i.e, volitional action, mind, heat or cold and nourishment, and which exists perpetually by itself, is the Element of Peace or Nibbana.

Complete darkness(1) the night of the 14th waning day of the month;(2) midnight,(3) in the heart of a deep forest;(4) enveloped in heavy rain clouds. Darkness having the above conditions is darkness known as andhakᾱra.

Influx; bias; canker;Ᾱsava conveys the idea of something flowing out, something that intoxicants the mind. Ᾱsavas are rooted in Craving, lobha; wrong view, diṭṭhi; and bewilderment, moha.

Envy is a feeling of discontent aroused by someone else’s possession of things and success.

Upᾱdᾱniya Uပါဒါန၏ Aာ႐။ OBJECT OF CLINGING

ခႏၶာငါးပါးက ျပငးျပစြာ စြလမးျခငးသည Uပါဒါနျဖစ၏။ ယငး Uပါဒါန၏ Aာ႐ျဖစေသာ ခႏၶာငါးပါးသည Uပါဒါနယ မည၏။

This term refers to intense clinging to the five aggregates of existence. Thus corporeality is an object of clinging as are the other aggregates of sensation, perception, volitional activity and consciousness.

Intense grief.Ageing and death, grief lamentation, bodily pain, and distress of mind, and agony arise because of rebirth.
