PUBLIC NOTICESpace Exploration Technologies Company (SpaceX) is planning to move hardware and conduct system testing at the company’s site located near Boca Chica Beach in Cameron County, Texas. As required for these activities, SpaceX will establish a safety zone perimeter in coordination with local law enforcement that will include temporary closures of Highway 4 and Boca Chica Beach.
Closures are targeted to occur the week of June 15. However, please keep in mind that target dates may change based on a number of factors. The most up-to-date information can be found at www.co.cameron.tx.us. Cameron County has also established a hotline for road closure updates at 956-548-9541.
