To our university president, Dr. Romeo T. Padilla, to the members of the Board of Regents and the Administration, to the Director for Paramedical Programs, Dr. Larina V. Osias, to the OIC for Academics, Ms. Sienna Marie Gonzalez, OIC for RLE, Laarni Almoete, OIC for Review, Thelma Angeleo-Agda, to the members of the faculty and staff of the College of Nursing who are present here, to our Batch 2010 Nursing Licensure Exams passers, our fellow students and visitors, a pleasant evening to you all. I am delighted to be a part of this testimonial program and especially pleased to have the opportunity to speak in behalf of all the student nurses in this institution that will soon follow the footsteps of our honorees this evening. We are celebrating the success of our 42 new nurses and their parents and guardians. We thank you for the noteworthy achievement you have bequeathed our Alma Mater: a board overall performance that landed us number one in Urdaneta City in the last Nursing Licensure Exams. I had the chance to be acquainted with them when they were still studying in this institution. Most of them happened to be my classmates which eventually became good friends of mine. They are nice, spirited and fun- loving. Some of them I had the opportunity to work with on different occasions. I have seen how professional they are. They are assertive, determined and goal-oriented. Also, some of them became my mentors who gave me advices, pointers, and all the stuffs I need to know. I wanted to say thank you because in a sense, you were my ates and kuyas when I was new here at school. To our brothers and sisters, you have successfully passed the requirement that professionalizes the discharge of your responsibility in the world of work. This tribute is for you and for your family from the College of Nursing of PUNP, the institution that became your laboratory of life for the past four (4) years. Much as you have learned in our school, there will still more to learn on the job. As you start your career in nursing, we hope that you’ll plant the seed of service, dedication, and love for work in your heart. As an old adage states, nursing is s vocation, it is really a vocation because you will give so much of yourself to others- your patience, care, time, energy and creativity. Ladies and gentlemen, once again, our honorees for this evening, the Batch 2010 Nursing Licensure Exams passers. Your name shall remain in PUNP’s

They are nice, spirited and fun-loving.

Your name shall remain in PUNP’s history of excellence. You are a big contribution to its service to the community because it has produced qualified and competent professional nurses. Thank you for being an inspiration to all of us.

Congratulations!
